Not sure why she is out there nor what she’s contributing…

Yep, I’m actually curious. Corner at that size is rare. And his YouTube highlights are mostly free safety and WR.
But everyone is just responding with joke replies lol.

You have clips of him at outside corner or seen him play?
Legitimately curious.

DJ Pickett Position

Pickett’s highlight reel is full of him playing free safety and WR, not outside corner…
He also seems to be a legitimate 6’3”/6’4” (towered over Patrick Peterson in those pics).
Am I missing something? Why does everyone think he’ll be a lockdown outside corner? Does he even play that position?
Might be more suited for a free safety Kyle Hamilton type role or even as a WR.

Neither Burrow nor Daniels looked good in their first year as a starter.
Nuss imploded last night (together with our FG unit, run game and run defense), but he’s still been better than expected for his first year as a starter.

Let me add two:
- Defer to return in the second half
- QB sneak any 3rd and inches. If that doesn’t work, sneak it again… Never want to see a shotgun run in these situations again.

Think bigger question was why we stopped going to Lacy…
He was unstoppable all first half and then a not even involved when the game was on the line.
Makes no sense to me.

I agree with you.
There were a few plays where he got rid of it too quick.
I wonder if that was a BK instruction cause he used to hold it too long and then chuck a Brett Favre pass lol.
I’m hoping they’ll notice it in film study this week.

I’m not asking for the entire game. I understand that isn’t viable, as Perk’s too small for that and a LB primarily.
Just the last drive with the game on the line and obvious pass situation.
That’s when we need our best pass rushers goin after the QB, and Perk is our fastest off the edge by far.
Instead we rushed 3 for a lot of those while Perk was back in coverage. Of course, Moss picked us apart.

Was honesty fine with Nuss’ play, except the one pass where he completely missed Anderson.
That play might’ve cost of the game.
But feel like BK has reigned in Nuss. Seemed much more conservative last night vs. his past few appearances.

HR speed.
Something the rest of our RBs seem to be lacking.
Emery used to have it, but poor guy has had some devastating injuries.
Also, Nuss checks it down to the RBs far more than JD did. Having an RB with some speed to catch those will help this offense a lot.

Where was McKinley?
And could’ve used Durham. Our RBs showed no juice last night.

Where is Womack?
Seems like Shand and Swinson got most of the snaps at DE.
Thought Baker called a decent game until the last drive. Can’t rush 3 and let Moss have plenty of time that drive.
Needed Womack and Perk off the edge every snap that last drive.

Hopefully he cleans up his act, cause he’s likely our best CB option opposite Stamps

Looked in good position but seemed undersized to be honest.
Stamps seemed like our only legitimate corner.
Wish Welch worked out.

I know you are just being a doomer right now, so probably wasting my time responding.
But LSU was -3.5 vs. USC, and -19 vs. UCLA.
USC and UCLA aren’t comparable teams this year.

Ole Miss becomes a must win now.
Which is why I wanted this USC win so bad.
Our margin of error for rest of the season is razor thin now.
At least we have the 12 team playoff, or this season would pretty much already be over.

Half of UCLA transferred out as their coaches left.
And UCLA’s star DC left to USC.
We’ll blow out UCLA, it’s gonna be a down year for them.

Nuss Conservative

You can tell BK has been preaching Nuss all summer not to turn it over and take the easy throws, cause the Nuss we saw last night was not the gunslinger we’ve seen in the past few seasons.
Need a happy medium in between because Nuss downfield passes are up there as his best strength, we simply did not take many deep shots.
BK needs to show more confidence in Nuss, and then Nuss will have more confidence himself.
Starts with the coach.

Well if you win…
But the bigger issue is scheduling these Week 1 when our team is clearly not prepared.
Need the cupcake Week 1, and big game Week 2.

Washington stud corner (Washington has produced some decent NFL corners recently) just entered the portal.
Would be instant CB1 if we were able to get him.
