Square peg meet round hole. The 3 assist a game from our point guard will be missed. I do hope she lands on her feet and plays well next year. She did work her arse off and play hard as hell even if it didn't always translate to on court production.

I’m sure she’s transferring because of a message board

I honestly think she was told to move on

Hailey fit in fine with the team, it was some of you fricking assholes on this board and other social media whom she found intolerable. The relentless desire to villainize athletes and coaches on this board is off the charts. So congratulations, some of you got what you wanted. If only we could stick your sorry asses in the transfer portal and send you away. Presumably you are Tiger fans, and if so you need to seriously reflect on your behavior toward coaches and players. You may think its all cute and funny but it is going to have an effect on players wanting to come here if they are going to be ridiculed and insulted by their own base. I don't want to hear n shite that these are compensated college athletes and they should be able to take the criticism. Commenting that someone didn't play well is fine, but the constant personal attacks and over the top comments are out of control and hopefully the administrations starts banning some of you,
someone give this dude a safe space.

ftr, you don't know shite.

No, it would’ve been best to get a natural pg out the portal instead of a big name

We saw from game 1 vs Colorado that it just wasn’t a good fit and she was a liability on defense

This was expected, not a shock. Kim had said several times both Angel and Hailey were leaving. Wish both of them well and thank them for playing at LSU. Now we can get 2 additional transfers. There will be a lot of good players in the portal through May 1. Go after the best PG in the portal who can shoot both 2s and 3s (if we can't get Amoore).

Of course she could stay, but if she isn't starting at PG then she's coming off the bench. She isn't starting in front of Flau'Jae or Mikaylah.
… agree.. I think the talk between her and Mulkey was possibly her coming off the bench as the 6th player or 7th player and not starting @ PG or shooting guard either…

She was extremely overrated.

Hopefully they can use her spot on a better player

She wasn’t a good fit here. Couldn’t score. Slow.

I wish her all the best but the most I’m gonna miss is seeing her beautiful face on the court. Won’t be a huge loss to the program in my opinion.

I'm so fricking sick of hearing this excuse. To the extent she comes on here and reads this shite (and that goes for any player in any sport), then that's on them if they can't handle what they read. Don't like it, don't read the comments.

Yes, this place can be a bit of a cesspool at times, just like every other message board of social media platform. The anonymity of the online brings out the worst of people, but again, she doesn't have to read. If she does, then that's on her.

And while some people stepped over the line or took personal shots at her, most of the criticism was about her game and her performance, which was all deserving. Yes, she works hard and plays her arse off and I have respect for her and wish her nothing but the best, but the point guard experiment failed miserably and completely threw off the shooting part of her game too. To say her time here was a disappointment is an understatement.

But again, with that said, I wish her the best and hope she can find a landing spot to be a shooting guard again and that she lights it up (unless she's playing against LSU).

But just stop making excuses for someone getting their feelings hurt when they voluntarily choose to read shite about themselves when they know it's going to be negative.

No not really. There was tension present there for a while. I think she grew more accepted later in the season but it didn’t seem like she wanted to be in BR.

Mulkey needs to vet better. Can’t just take the biggest name
