For all the defending she did of the team, it was obvious that she was dealing with some serious culture shock. She just did not fit in.

Thanks for your time at LSU. Good luck in your future endeavors on and off the court!

She will probably go somewhere and return to off-guard and score a bunch of points again. I'm sure that's the thinking, and it's a good strategy. She needs to go somewhere and be the player she was at Louisville again. Definitely going to miss her, but it's for the best for everyone involved.

If someone leaves because TD was mean they aren’t going by to make it very far

She’s a high volume scorer and we don’t have a lot of shots available for her to take to get in a rhythm. I wish her the best

Why not do that at LSU? I think Mulkey offered her the chance to become a true PG because that was what she wanted. It didn't work out, I'm sure Mulkey would let her stay here as an off-guard.

There has to be a bit more to this.

The experiment at PG didn’t work. I suppose she expects to be more successful and have a better chance of starting at G elsewhere.

Coming from an Arkansas fan - ha ha. Not sure why LSU fans feel the need to rag on our players. It was clear during the season (listen to press conferences from our coaches and staff) that those comments hurt her. If that was the case, that is just a sad state of life for all of those miserable SOB's on this Board that claim to be LSU fans.

Of course she could stay, but if she isn't starting at PG then she's coming off the bench. She isn't starting in front of Flau'Jae or Mikaylah.

No there isn't. Van Lith wouldn't even start here next year and she knows it. Williams and Johnson have off-guard locked down. If Hailey wants to go pro, she needs to go somewhere where she can average 20 points a game like she did at Louisville and she is plenty smart enough to see that it won't be here.

Just bc she’s in the portal doesn’t mean she’s 100% leaving. And if she does, it was never really a good fit between the two.

I bet she ends up at somewhere that we are not even thinking. Maybe in LA.

Thank God almighty.

She was a bit of a disaster and next year wasn't going to be any better.

Best of luck to her. Thanks for everything.
Puts her in a minority, playing for a National Championship Coach! Very deserving!!!

I don't think people were unfairly critical of HVL. They definitely didn't attack her personally. People commented on her play which everyone does about every player.
