As a hypothetical…

Obviously he’s a bit too far along in his LB development to switch, but he seems to have the exact same size, speed, and skillset as jamal adams (blitz boy).

He’s a tweener for LB but would’ve made an awesome safety circa 2016 LSU.

Obviously not since matt house spent all off season repping him at Inside linebacker

He’d be laying the wood like Chad jones, Laron Landry etc.

Man I miss those days.. now we have guys making a tackle for an 8 yard gain and flexing their muscles

He’d be our best player there too

He’s just a freak.

20 years ago he probably would be a safety. Seems like House wants him to be Isaiah Simmons

That's who I see every time the ball is snapped. Even though he's technically a linebacker.

Don’t know...but he’s more of a safety than a middle linebacker

He deserves the honey badger position and scheme.

I dont see this ever happening. I do think he could be the kind of linebacker that could shut down some of these tight ends coming out of the backfield that the NFL is using though if he needed to.

He had 256 snaps from the slot this year, the most of anyone on the team.

He was 1/3 DB this year as it was.

Play him like he was used a year ago!
It's not rocket science

Do we believe he is 220?
Man I wish he could get up to 235 to 240. If not try him at safety to help his NFL stock. But man these decisions should've been made this year to prep him for NFL.

He still wouldn’t be doing what he does best and that is rush the passer

He's going to have to be a box safety like a Jamal Adams at the next level I think, just due to physical size.

For a team that can't cover we surely don't have any thumpers back there either. Should have repped him there already.
