Oh,my goodness. Had the Rant, or any message board, been around in 1967 there would have been Three Mile Island meltdowns with the way LSU lost the 3 games and tied the one. Missed XPs and short fgs.

October 5, 1968 - LSU 48, Baylor 16

It's one of the earliest things I can remember - the gold helmets of Baylor. I sit in the same seats today (Section 422), which were transferred to me by my aunt/uncle in the Curley years when LSU allowed.

In all honesty, the first time I went to a game was my freshman year in 09. My family is not an LSU family.

Transferred to LSU in 1980. I went to every home game 1980-1982 and the 1983 Orange Bowl in my hometown of Miami. Went back to see old teammates and caught the '83 game vs. Mississippi State and '84 game vs. Tulane.

.....then I didn't attend an LSU game until the 2010 Capital One slopfest vs. Penn State in Orlando.

My son started as a freshman at LSU in 2010 and I've been going back for one or two games every fall since because my son stayed in BR after he graduated.

Freshman year 1981 vs Bama, everyone got really drunk waiting in line for the student section (first come). A couple massive brawls broke out that BR sheriffs were involved and we lost a low scoring game to the gumps.

Student section 1990-93, season ticket holder since then, and have missed fewer than 5 games.

My dad never missed a home game in 46 years, until he got sick with cancer.
Section 215!

It was so long ago that I can’t remember the exact first season. But I did see bothBilly Cannon and Jim Taylor. I also remember sitting with my dad in Tiger Stadium watching the Tulane game. For some reason, I think the score was something like 26- 6.

That was October 5, 1946. Tigers won 13-6. First home game of that season. 10 games in 64 days in those days. No open dates. Now games start in August.

Wow. Now that I give it some thought, I think I was T the ‘57 Tulane game with my dad. A lot of people forget that Cannon and Taylor played on the same team for awhile.
