After they embarrassed us so much during the BK era, obliterating them on our home field will be very cathartic. This is the game on the schedule that has the heaviest revenge factor to it (from LSU’s perspective at least). Hopefully Blake Baker can finally corral Reed.

As long as it’s not a 2:30 kickoff

If LSU is 3-0, it’s going to be perfect. Lane may have not been here last year, but I think he’s got some receipts to hand out.

It’s in September, should be a night game. Don’t we have a new law for September home games now?

Georgia-Oklahoma, Texas-Tennessee and Ole Miss-Florida are other notable games that week.

If that was true, then they wouldn’t be in the 2:30 flex window

If we’re undefeated it won’t matter what time the game is at. Honestly even if we somehow lose to Ole Miss I still think the atmosphere will be great.

You sound like you haven’t been to a day game in September

We should give them a nice fruit basket or something in pre game…them pantsing Kelly and turning TS into Kyle Field on national TV truly awakened the beast

Poor A&M, they still lose even whey win

A&M plays at 2:30 the week before vs Kentucky. Doubtful they get the same window back to back weeks.

Helps us. This feels like 6:00 on espn

Everyone pray it’s not at 230.

After UCLA inferno - nothing should ever be 230 in September

I'd love for this game to be at night, but does LSU really get the ABC primetime game 3 of the first 4 weekends?

That seems unlikely.

Here are the other games in the flex window of afternoon and night:

Oklahoma at UGA
Ole Miss at Florida

Texas at Tenner is already set for 11 am.

Contrary to popular belief, Louisiana does not have a law banning day games in September. It only formally requests that networks keep start times after 6 pm for the safety of the fans and players.

Emotionally, so difficult to manage coming on the heels of going to Oxford with A&M at home v Kentucky the week before. A real test for the boys, but...one they will have to rise to given what happened last year

That fiasco has to be responded to, full stop.

Didn’t Louisiana pass a law that LSU could only play at night in the months of September and October or did o dream that?

It can’t be a 2:30 game due to it still being in September. Has to be an evening game in September now thanks to the UCLA game.

I would normally agree with you regarding the ABC primetime game being unlikely, but depending on what the viewership/ratings results are for this past week and how they are trending, ABC may opt for more Kiffin/LSU drama.

I would bet on OU at UGA for primetime, which puts us at 2:30 because they won't want us on ESPN cannibalizing viewers. If somehow OU loses to Michigan, it probably changes things.

UGA prefers to play day games… They are on east coast and most of their fans travel 2+ hours for games. They would prefer a 3:30 game than an 8pm game EST

We are the team to hate this year and we just came out and put everyone on notice game 1 with a flawless demolishing.

They will put us at 7pm every game if this hype continues.
