Don't forget we play the Spring Game before then. Perhaps we are looking ahead to the spring game and won't be focused on this one.

Agree with that - It's being up for the game that concerns me. I love the stage, hype and the match up but think some of the players may see it as lackluster.

UCF can't stop the run or the pass, so we establish the run early, use ball control to keep UCF's offense off the field, and when they sell out against the run, play action over the top.

LSU will run it down their throat. UCF defense could not stop our second string players. We will play clock control and pound away along with slants and deep passes. Their defense is ranked near the bottom and the schedule they played is soft. Maybe Pitt...LSU wants 10 wins badly. They will dominate this game.

LSU- 38
UCF- 23

This isn’t a trap game because UCF isn’t under the radar anymore.

If LSU loses, it will be because they made mistakes, have too many holes on defense, or because UCF is that good.

There’s no way they should be overlooked because they are from the G5.

It's a trap game, surely.

PS I didn't mean to call you Shirley.

last year I would've been more concerned that we'd have been apathetic. We're not like Auburn, which was on the cusp of winning the SECCG and getting a playoff bid, so playing UCF was a big letdown for them.

Now everyone understands UCF is pretty good, so they'll get our full attention. And it's the Fiesta Bowl, so we'll be emotionally engaged.

Seems like in these type of games, our problem hasn't been jumping on them early, but playing the full 4 quarters and letting teams back in the game late. Usually due to our offense becoming way too conservative with a lead instead of keeping their foot on the gas.

There has NEVER been a bowl game that is a trap game.....

However I think UCF smokes LSU... LSU will be crap on offense and UCF can outscore them..........

1.) You are absolutely correct. We can’t stop the run for the 1st half of any game, but second half we are lights out at rush defense. 2.) Our cornerbacks are arguably the best aspect of our defense... I figure your coaching staff won’t be underestimating them like this.

We won’t win this game. UCF is talented. Our players are not excited about the matchup. If they were Greedy would play. He knows there is nothing to gain.

We will not buy our allotment of tickets proving the fans have no interest. LSU will lose a lot of money on this trip. UCF is excited to prove they can beat SEC teams.....and they will.

All in all, it is a miserable set up for us.

Bowl games are like ham sandwiches. Have you ever had a bad ham sandwich? I believe we will win, but the outcome of the game will have little impact on how we do next year. Now the practices we get in will have an impact and how players play will have an impact, but a bowl game means nothing at this point with the exception that it adds to the coach's win and loss record.

LSU will shorten the game using UCF lack of D.
We do not want to get in a shoot out.

UCF will not stop the LSU running game, we need to make some stops in their passing game to win.

I can see the game:
LSU 35
UCF 28

They won't. UCF pulls away in the 4th. Orgeron and E will have some good gumbo afterward though. Go Tigahs yaw yaw yaw

These two items are completely unrelated.

And that affects the team how?

Not according to their fans.
