I actually like putting the pressure on them. It’s what won us the NC last year

agree but that leaves us in a bad spot for the second game. Maybe it’s Little or Loer for that game but you aren’t confident you can win with them yet

You know it’s that time of year for Ack and Hurd to step up.

I think you go Holman tomorrow but I’m not paid a lot of money to make these decisions

Jay said they had been preparing Jump to start today on short rest for the past few weeks. Have they been doing the same sort of thing with Holman? If not I doubt you see him start tomorrow.

Same prob UGA faced today. Better be able to hit for avg or your 140+ hrs mean you get beat

This guy is a robot. Can a human tell me and the other humans what this means?

Yes, Holman likely can handle the same. We shall find out tomorrow.

Kentucky doesn’t have a strong desire to win in this tournament. LSU does. I think we will defeat Kentucky.

You have to win 2 of 3. So you can win with Holman and lose 2 after that because you didn’t plan correctly

I think what he is saying is winning the SEC tourney is pointless this year, other than for pride. We are in a regional no matte what, there is no chance to host, and the difference between a 2 and 3 seed may not be worth pitching Holman on 4 days rest as he already dealt with a tired arm earlier in the year and he is already guaranteed a start on Thursday win or lose.

I will trust Johnson to make the decision on Holman as well as how badly he feels the team needs the momentum associated with a deep SEC run.

Looking at bracket let’s beat Kentucky and throw in the towel. It looks exhausting no wonder jay doesn’t like the tournament. Save your players for regionals, supers, and hopefully the CWS.

Braswell and Milazzo have to play mistake free baseball. Milam usually does. But Kentucky is going to put pressure on middle in field every time they get on base.

Score at least one more run than they do.

Last year we saw Postseason Hurd. You have to at least see if that guy is back. Last outing was promising. But if you leave Hoover without testing the waters to see whether Playoff Hurd is just someone who finds a way to rise to the occasion or last year was just an aberration then you’ve handicapped yourself going into post season that matters.

Yeah but where does the great pitching come from? Are we throwing Holman in the first game in double elimination?

We have to throw Holman. We don’t have the depth to make it through a double elimination this week.

Against Arky? You know they beat Skenes in this tourney last year. Win today and that’s all that matters!
