Kentucky pitching is weak, but their hitting is great between small ball and a few Homers.

LSU is hitting mistakes and piling up runs. I like our chances

UK is not playing in a Dixie Majors size ballpark tomorrow.

Your description of UK sounds like UGA too. GREAT pitching can win almost any game.

Yeah but where does the great pitching come from? Are we throwing Holman in the first game in double elimination?

Will Kentucky be starting its midweek (4th) pitcher? If so, I believe we will beat up on them similarly to the way we beat up on Georgia. Good news is rpi and resume do not “know” that our win was against inferior pitching.

I think you go Holman tomorrow but I’m not paid a lot of money to make these decisions

Because they’re Kentucky

Only 4 players in the MLB top 400 draft prospects. They’re just veteran

Uk LF 335. RF 320. Power alleys 375/365 cf 400
Hoover LF 340 RF 340. Power alleys 385/385 cf 405

Same prob UGA faced today. Better be able to hit for avg or your 140+ hrs mean you get beat

I agree but that leaves us in a bad spot for the second game. Maybe it’s Little or Loer for that game but you aren’t confident you can win with them yet

If you win with Holman who gives a shite. You did what you came to Hoover to do

It’s double elimination. You have to win 2 of 3. So you can win with Holman and lose 2 after that because you didn’t plan correctly

I don’t think I’d put the pressure of starting on Little
Not sure I’d put it on Hurd either
Ack & Ulloa both threw around 40 pitches Saturday

Start Dutton & see if you can get 2 innings out of him then piece it together from there?

ETA
I’m more than ok with 2 wins & resting for postseason

Yes I know… but you’re probably in right now. You’re definitely in if you beat UK. Other teams will be using their pitching too
