You get what you pay for.

Florida’s roster was ranked around 70th nationally so they didn’t pay much.

Florida has a ton of foreign dudes. Its surprising how much international talent they have.

Im not sure why but someone on the secrant said that florida didn't start anyone over 6'8" in this game.

Wasn't the white kid taller than 6'8"? Did he not start or am I thinking that he's bigger than he is?

From what I hear, the Florida coach is very persistent, keeps showing up and calling and texting, sending pics of himself....so I guess he does that with recruits as well?

They’re idiots. They started one 6’10” and one 6’11”

In discussing the coaching hires, everything said by everyone needs to be done understanding the backdrop of how bad our BB program was at the time CMM was hired.
It was not an attractive place for most on the market to look. Huge LSU fan here, but a realist too. Program’s state, caused us to offer such a LT contract to a guy who had done great things in his previous job.
FYI - See Coach K’s record his 1st few years!

He didn't play and red shirted but ive never seen a 7'9" guy on a college team. He cut the net down with no ladder last night.

LMAO at you bleeding all over another thread.

Hell, Tenn should fire their coach. Alabama should fire their coach. Auburn should fire Pearl....KY should fire their new coach....hell every single SEC school should fire their coach, other than Florida, because none of them have won a NC since the Florida coach was hired. Are you paid to be stupid, or does it come natural to you?

We hired a resume, that might have been propped up by a really strong Murray st program.

Maybe but how has Murray St done since McMahon left? They hired the guy who was there before McMahon and it has not been good. I think it is more layered than that and why it is a crap shoot going from that level to this one.

I think maybe it takes a slightly different approach to win in a single-bid conference as opposed to a power conference. So he may be a fine coach for the Ohio Valley Conference but not for the SEC. This season should provide a definitive answer but I think most of us think he is in over his head.

any other coaches out there currently you’d like to see Woodward ultimately replace McMahon with? Can we get you in on the hiring process?
The young, hungry, analytics gurus are exactly the type of coaches who are going to feast on this NIL/portal landscape. We had one in Wade. Shameful.
Nailed it.

You posted your linked thread several times. Are you forgetting you also supported the Matt McMahon hire?

Taking current circumstances into account, Matt McMahon would be an outstanding hire.

You’re missing the point (as usual). Any of these teams with the exception of Kentucky were good enough to win it all this year, and Kentucky was still really good. It’s not too much to ask to want to be at the top of the league with these teams because it’s been proven that it can be done at LSU.

Golden would not have been given a fighting chance here. His accolades would not be close to what they are

Houston had no inside game and got very sloppy in the end. 3 turnovers in the last minute.

So in other words whoever LSU hires is pretty much hopeless in Baton Rouge?

In that case might as well just stick with McSuck.
