Yes, 100% yes.

In discussing the coaching hires, everything said by everyone needs to be done understanding the backdrop of how bad our BB program was at the time CMM was hired.
It was not an attractive place for most on the market to look. Huge LSU fan here, but a realist too. Program’s state, caused us to offer such a LT contract to a guy who had done great things in his previous job.

Gonna beat Tenn at home 2/3 I believe. I think we’ll also beat Bama 2/3. AU might be a sweep, but ARK and possibly sweep S. Car. On the road like OU. I could see an upside of 12/6 the rest of the way which could contend for SEC Title.
That’s optimistic of course, but w/offense the way it’s playing pitching doesn’t have to always be stellar.

Freezing cold, win blowing in hard and Omaha isn’t a bad club. Their pitching was decent, but certainly Tier 2.

A). Tulane’s prepared to pay their HC enough (not sure what Tulane HC makes though, and
B) He’s got it going in BR with his pieces coming in. He earned his $ this year, and
C). Matt Moscona said he talked to someone in Coach Bakers circle who said no contact has even been made, so I believe this is smoke and mirrors.

Tiger fan here in Nashville and watched CMM torch the OVC for years. He’s legit and will win at LSU. He’s a very good coach and even better dude. I expect him to build a great LSU BB program.

Great breakdown, but the overarching issue for Coach, which makes it very difficult to evaluate him fairly is that he lost his #1 returning LB and his #1 DT for most all of the season.

Not every team has a lack of depth like LSU to handle taking such a blow and not be affected.

Missing those 2 guys, particularly the Guillory, @DT, is probably the difference between 1 or 2 more losses than expected, hence the 4 losses.

Not having a consistent run game on offense also put them on the field for more minutes and it’s all connected.

Yes LSU got this call on them like 3X's vs USC in the season opener. Drives you crazy because it's so easy to not do. Just don't freaking clap!

No, but he beat our arse in Nashville when we had Fournette. I was at that game and he outcoached us, although John Chavis was basically an absentee DC as he’d already agreed to go to A&M.

For the Young whipper snappers, ha, us old farts established most of the traditions in and around LSU. We all enjoy them so, while I'm a traditionalists and love the LSU Gold pants, white jersey's and Gold Helmets, ....

The idea of all whites vs their blackout is a nice touch. I like it!

Also didn't know till I read this thread that the last 2 times we beat them we were in all white. Now my superstition has kicked in so let's Geaux beat their asses in all whites.
