Why would anyone think that it wouldn't be close?
The 51-10 Clemson game was an anomaly. Many on this forum were expecting us to win comfortably vs Ole Miss.
We just lost Trey Dez and Dashawn Spears.
This year is going to be a grind. Other than McNeese and Arkansas there is not a gimme left on the schedule.

With Green out someone needs to step up in the passing game. I'm really not confident in the passing game with Green out for this week. I think we will get the passing game figured out eventually but without Green thats a lot to ask.

I feel strongly that LSU will win. That said, a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Neither team will be eliminated with a loss. They will just have no room for error the rest of the year.

LSU is going to blow A&M out. That line should tell you everything. A&M won’t be able to contain Leavitt, they’ll struggle to pressure him and then offensively if LSU stays in their gaps they’ll force inaccurate throws into tight coverage from Marcel Reed.

I would take Kiffin over Elko and that’s not being a homer.
I’m much more impressed by what Kiffin did at Ole Miss than Elko at A&M.
Overall they are similar in wins since Elko became a head coach and winning percentage. You could argue either one and not be a homer.

It’s overrated baker vs a mobile qb so I don’t like it.
However we are at home so the offense should be better. Kentucky mugged Aggy and should have won by more.
Reed sucks but if you give him all day eventually someone gets open.
