This is officially the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I've heard some dumb things. I've said plenty of dumb things. I think this takes the cake. HMMM would you take a potential Heisman winner or a guy that looks a lot better than he really is because the rest of the running game sucks arse...hmmmm wow

we've got our own #5, why do we need theirs?
Hester>>>>>>>>>>McFadden

Hester for D McFadden?
Yes, have some.
Yes, have some.

anyone who says they wouldn't trade McFadden for Hester is either racist or just plain stupid. I'll lean towards the second one for most of those people.
this would be like an Arkansas fan saying they'd rather have Casey Dick instead of Jamarcus Russell

Now that's a nice analogy.
Rummy just feels a kinship with all other bald white boys, he really would take McFadden.
Hell, I'd throw in Doucet just for good measure.

Out of highschool yes, but now that he is a tiger he is worth 20 piggies and 30 war chickens.

Wow...this is officially the most ridiculous post I have seen...look I like Hester too...he is a pure football player and love is heart and leadership, but if we had a back like McFadden we probably would be undefeated right now and discussing NC...please people

All of this is really just stupid. Arkansas has a more experienced O'line AND Nutt runs the hell out of Mcfadden from all over the backfield. There lies THE major difference in Mcfadden and a host of other backs. Comparing Hester to Mcfadden is like comparing apples to oranges. Put Keiland Williams or Charles Scott (both with a little more experience) in the Arkansas backfield being played like Mcfadden and his stats might not look so superhuman. Another prime example of this is Reggie Bush. He was all world in college because he was in a perfect situation. Now he is in the NFL and is not even sniffing the jock of elite backs. Look at Joseph Addai, who was not even mentioned along Mcfadden and Irons last year. He is one of the best backs in the league. It's all about the situation that the back is put in.

And skills which McFadden has more of than Hester (as much as I like Hester, I would be candidate to go to Mandeville saying otherwise)

Charles Scott would knock half a second off of his forty time by playing in McFadden's situation?

I would rather trade offensive lines...
but no, we already have KW for next year, so I'd prefer we keep our fullback.

DMac has 1 more year of experience
and are you really comparing keiland/scott to the best player in the country and best RB in the country (now that ap is hurt)?

this is b/c he never developed his running skills and is just now learning how to be a running back. DMac is a pure RB

yeah he was so hated on by the media that he slid all the way to the end of the 1st round

no, he isn't

This thread is a joke, hopefully. I guess ya'll wouldn't trade Luke Sanders for James Laurinitas either, since Sanders is a "Tiger."

If Hester has more yards than McFadden on the 24th, then hell NOOOO!
If he has less yards, still no. He's a tiger for Pete's sake!!!

Hester is a great guy to have on your team, but of course you trade him for mcfadden...thats like saying would you trade tyrus thomas for MJ in his prime, of course you would take Jordan.

No way, SFP, Hester is tearing it up in practice. At least I guess that's what he meant.
