In his last year at LSU I said on here that he will never make it as a pro QB...I then was publicly crucified...come to find out, he is worse than I imagined...I would now like my apology... :popcorn:

Wow this whole victim mentality thing has got to stop. ESPN does not hate LSU. I saw the show you are referring to last night. The analysis was very fair based on what we did this year. WE LOST TO ARKANSAS! What good is there to say? Wow :banghead:

Have been watching the New Orleans Saints play football this year? Sean Payton has had no commitment to the rnnng game all year accept maybe onegame. He alone is the reason we lost to Washington and Denver. His ego is way too attached to the passsing game.

That is so funny. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Payton needs to watch the Giants to see what it takes to win in the NFL: Commit to running the football and tough, aggressive defense. I am not a Giants fan but I love watching that team play football.

What does payton have against Deuce? Why does everyone understand accept him that when we commit to running the ball with Deuce we win and when we become pass-happy (which is every game now) we lose. Hello! :banghead:

Regarding the challenges: I was listening to WWL in 2nd half and Hokie was so frustrated. When the inevitible loss to a Payton challenge game down, Hokie says: "That's it Sean, give away another timeout." Hokie also says to Henderson at one point: "Can I ask you something? Where is Will Smith" I had to :lol:

I agree with everything you said about the Defense and D-line. Both are a joke. However, I disagree with you on Shockey. He is a joke as well. Blame that completely on Payton. He saw Shockey as another "toy" for him to play with in his pass-happy offense. Which reminds me of another huge mistake by payton, which falls into the same "toy" category: Meachem. Wow he really is playing like a 1st rounder :rolleyes:

I don't even want to know what defensive player we could have in place of meachem if we would have gone that route in the 1st round that year.

That would be awesome! That is actually exactly what we need. I have been saying for over a year now that is our main problem-we lack toughness and have become the dredded "finesse" team. Payton's refusal to commit to any sort of running game is beyond frustrating. I heard Deuce had zero carries in the 2nd half! What is that?!!!

Much more to being a QB than completions...he managed the game horribly, you can tell he is not a leader, does not protect the ball, etc
