Wouldn't call him a dumbass. But he is an alarmist negatiger who bases his opinions on supposition rather than objective fact...

Help me Rant - So WHY exactly are we supposed to win this game?

We aren't "supposed" to win this game. Hence why the odds makers don't have us as a favorite to win it.

Alabama is almost unanimously considered the best team in college football. All of the media personalities that cover the sport are picking them to win.

We aren't "supposed" to win. But as fans we choose reasons to believe and there is more than a puncher's chance that we do win.

If by chance we do lose, please just STFU and don't say "see I told you so" because you aren't exactly making any bold fearless predictions here. Everyone knows we're the underdog here. But that's why they play the games. Underdogs win sometimes. There are always unknown variables that show up in a college football game. No one predicted us to run UGA off the field but we did.

Let's just see what happens and stop being such pathetic bitches already conceding defeat before the game eh?

WHY was Purdue supposed to beat Ohio State?

What is your score prediction?

He just wants to act like he was smart and say I told you so after the game so he's going with the safe pick

That's all it is

Exactly

He’s made toolbag posts like this one before multiple games this year.

Lester exposed his July quote about what the team would be above. Rouge was wrong but he is still looking for vindication when/if we do lose.

Yes most of the fans know that they are a tough opponent for us and our offense is outmatched but as a fan you gotta believe we have chance and we do. You are talking about the optimism on this board but do you read other news where everyone I mean everyone thinks there is no need to play the game and we should just sit out and have another bye week. This maybe the best over all team put on the field ever but if we have to go down we are going to go down with a fight and show them what Tiger football is

We need turnovers and we need a pass rush. We also need Tua to have the first bad game of his career.

We need to break a few big plays. Otherwise it’s objectively going to be a very long night.

The good news is in college football sometimes that shite actually happens especially in environments like tomorrow night.

Now to the biggest issue of RED ZONE OFFENSE. It sucks. It just does.

You need to look at the SEC stat package. LSU is #1 in Red Zone Offense. Bama is about 10th because they missed like 5 FG's in the RZ. We are in the bottom when you look at TD vs FG. Bama has more RZ whiffs than we do. About half the time they score it is from a distance.

If you take Bama's Scoring Offense (#1) and Total Offense (#1) away then all you have left is neutral stats where LSU and Bama are either same or slightly positive or negative.

Bama's offense could be inflated due to the fact that they have not played a defense yet that is in the top half of the NCAA in yards given per play. We have played 4 including the top one, MSU. The #2 team in Scoring and Offense is Ole Miss who is hanging right in there with Bama so that dont say a whole lot about cherrypicking stats.

LSU is likely to lose. We hope that they won't. Why are we acting as if that isn't the case?

Because what the frick else are we supposed to be doing the day before the game??? ... wallowing in misery and making other plans for the night? WTF is the point of a thread like this on an LSU board unless you're a Bama fan?

If LSU keeps the game close, it has the kicker to make the difference.

This. And there is no reason to think we will get blown out. Our defense is better than theirs (and it is BY FAR the best they will have faced all season). And our special teams is significantly better as well.

IDK how people can't see these objective facts.

FWIW, people need to remember that last time we beat these cucks in TS Jordan Jefferson led the tigers to victory against McElroy, Ingram, and Julio...

Will be nice to see another Jefferson pull out a W against the vaunted Bama...
