That said, you could have written similar posts every time we’ve played Alabama in Tiger Stadium since Saban has been there, and every time it’s been about as close as a game can be, with LSU even winning one.

I think logic goes out the window in this series, at least it has in the past. We’ll see if that’s still the case, but I actually do have a sneaking suspicion this is going to be another nail biter of a game.

The one thing that we have right now that we haven’t in the past is Joe Burrow. The guy really is just a different kind of dude than we’ve had in a really long fricking time.

I’ve been completely sold on him since Day 1 and he hasn’t done anything to show me he just isn’t up to games like this. On the contrary, he shown that he absolutely thrives in these games.

I don’t think tomorrow will be any different.

Aranda was phenomenal against Saban in 16 and pretty good last year. Again, no reason to think that won’t be the case again this year, although Tua at QB is certainly a different kind of cat as well.

Still, I just think there is too much momentum going in our favor right now for this not to be a photo finish.

I believe in Burrow on a stage like this. It’s why he was never going to fricking Cincinnati. He went to Ohio State to play at the Shoe against teams like Michigan, and when that became not the right fit, Tiger Stadium was the perfect replacement. Alabama has been on his mind since he arrived
