But can’t it be both? The two isms can intertwine, no?

I’m still trying to figure out where he got this from? I’ve paid attention to a lot of women’s basketball this season, and UCLA is no where near “America’s favorite”. If he said this about Iowa, sure. But nobody cares about UCLA. Not even in LA. I’ve heard about Juju Watkins all year,

It was his window of opportunity BFORE the Iowa game. It’s a hit piece.

Do not conflate the overuse of the word with it having no meaning. While I think it gets thrown around way too liberally, I'd never be foolish enough to pretend like it doesn't exist. Even today.

There's definitely a tinge of racism to it, so I have no problem with HVL's comments.

It is funny seeing TD pretty much agree with HVL though. If this exact situation was happening to South Carolina and they were crying racism about it, this board would definitely not agree

So is the UCLA coach racist? She wanted Reese to get a technical? She also shared the original article, therefore she agreed with it...is she racist?

How could anyone go to play for her at UCLA if she is racist?

Can you think both Clark and Reese can be too much with on court talk? No matter what their skin color is? Also, Clark's own dad told her to shut up...Angel needs that too sometimes, doesn't make it racist.

Imus used the term “nappy headed ho’s”. That is egregious. Dirty debutants is bad but doesn’t reach the level of nappy headed ho’s.

What Imus said was agregious only to Ultra Libby Lib Wokester types. (The Media is huge majority ULLWT's)

As of March 2024, there were 341,352,608 residents of the USA and I'm sure the majority of them aren't ULLWT's and didn't have a problem with the Imus comment. In fact, I'm sure that the majority got a big laugh out of it......

Semjase is racist. He doesn't even see it anymore. He normalizes it.

To him, this makes sense.

I think its more about jackass writer who had a hissy fit about LSU and used whatever means to paint LSU as the Sith.

One thing I've learned about LSU fans in this one year of kinda paying attention to LSU WBB is that this board hates its own players more than the LA Times ever could.

Angel Reese is the third best player to come through the program in its history and is the first to lead the program to a title, yet this board hates her because she does something that literally every player does in every sport... trash talks.

Yeah I wasn’t sure what mulkey meant by sexism. What was sexist?

I think they harped on them a little too hard for talking shite during the huddle even though men do worse and no one says anything.

The woke left blames all criticism on “bigotry” or sexism/racism to try to shut people up, it works usually, she’s just turning it around. They’ve been out for blood with Mulkey, inventing a conflict, not because she won the championship but because she didn’t kiss Brittney Griner’s arse. It’s just what the “tolerant” left does at this point.

Got some sheep who will downvote this, but thankfully I’m not important enough to be cancelled for disagreeing with such a delusional narrative.

I'm amazed how some people who idolize Larry Bird never realize he was the king of trash talk.

And that's where the racism and sexism comes into play. But we are so splintered as a society that if anyone labels anything racist and/or sexist, they are immediately labeled "lefist woke".

It's such a dumb discourse.

Her dad was upset bc Clark kept whining to the refs about getting fouled. Also, I’ve never seen a player chase another player around during a game pointing at her finger. If that happen in a men’s league there would be a brawl, rightfully so.
