This is where LSU athletics start to get interesting. Politics is so ingrained in the state and LSU.
Landry probably viewing this as a political career boost. Cause chaos to try to push through the college sports act. Thinks he can use some political wins to boost him to Senator status eventually.

Doubt it’s that calculated. Not sure why people doubt he and his family are serious LSU fans. Probably some of them on this site.

Fuk getting involved in this mess.
Play with the players we have and move on.
We don’t need sanctions and people suspended later and god forbid games forfeited.
Not the fight we need with all we have going for LSU currently.

Watching the Louisiana govt waste money on football is gonna get Landry voted out. He thinks LSU is a popular team and it is, but the vast majority of fans don’t want the govt spending money on it or being involved at all.

He's helped LSU immensely since last year just look at where we are now. You had Burger King and now you got the Portal King. Landry isn't wrong

Tired of politicians, University Presidents, Governors, and Athletic Directors that don't hire the best coaches & ADs that fight for LSU to WIN!
Could have had Steve Spurrier in the 1980s.. Board of Stupid-visors.listened to the players and promoted Mike Archer to HC, BOS left Spurrier at the airport in BR and didn't even have the respect to pick him up for the second interview.
Could have had a 3 time national championship winning coach (at OSU & UF), Urban Meyer, in 2021. Woodward hired Brian Kelly because it was politically expedient and not the winner, Urban Meyer, because it was politically incorrect, not only to hire him, but also to interview him for the job.
Chose Joe Aleva as AD when he railroaded and destroyed the athletic careers and lives of the Duke Lacrosse players and coach on the statement of a convicted felon, stripper, drug addict, and proven false statement maker to police, which happened on multiple occasions. Aleva pronounced them guilty, only for them to be proven innocent later on.
