Projected 90 degrees at the 6:30 kick. High of 96 in the afternoon. Hopefully we can handle any cramping issues.
Stay hydrated if you’re headed up there.
I didn’t say this was a disadvantage for LSU. Just hope we are on the good side of the heat issues. Cramps can be a crap shoot,

It was hot AF this past Saturday.
The wife tapped out and said no more early season games for her. I almost brought her to First Aid.

Both offenses are going to try to take advantage of this and gas their respective opponent defenses.
It's another in the list of reasons we need to be good on first down when on defense. Someone yesterday made a thread about how Ole Miss isn't great at working behind the chains.
Forcing 3 and outs to both give our defense more rest time, and give their less rest time, can pay dividends in the 4th quarter.
None of this is groundbreaking, and generally applies to every game all the time. It's just magnified with the weather.

It'll be 78° by end of the game. It'll likely be at 89°- 90° at game time, but falling steadily.

96 is hot?
Come on over to Dallas where it's been 100+ 50 days in a row

Advantage for the team from southern Louisiana compared to those Yankees from northern Mississippi.

But will it be 163 degrees at field level?

What’s the humidity? Against tech every coach looked like they had been doused with water right before talking on camera.

Good. Now you can enjoy the game with 102,000+ in peace.

isnt a backdoor front coming in to eliminate the humidity?
Posted on 9/15/26 at 9:48 am to mule74
Isn’t it supposed to be sort of less humid this weekend?

It's been a miserable summer in Dallas this year. It's like the sun is coming from through a magnifying glass. Comfortable (or rather, tolerable) if there's cloud cover, but that's rare.
I live a few miles from DFW Airport and Tthe last date of measurable rainfall at DFW International Airport was July 15th, exactly two months ago.

Going northeast to the boiling desert of Oxford from the fridgid tundra of Baton Rouge will take a toll on the Tigers of Louisiana State, but a steady fast belief in the game plan and commitment to execution will be the guiding light on this perilous venture.
God speed Tigers
Also its a heat index if 107 in BR today I think they might be able to deal with such frigid conditions like 96°
