As I’ve said in other threads, Missouri has a new coach that reloaded his entire roster the same as lsu but with lower ranked small school players. They are in the hunt for the tournament. It can be done. It’s either bad coaching or player evaluations or both.

I certainly was not and I'm still disappointed in the product I've seen. I hope next year and beyond is much better and you can come back and call me an idiot. That would mean we are kicking arse and that would make me very happy.

Nobody expected that. We were predicted to finish 8th in the SEC and with a couple of teams being overrated those of us who were hopeful thought we could finish a little higher than expected. The hyperbole is a straw man cover tactic to misrepresent people’s expectations.

Yes it’s true but if you would’ve told me the Worst he could do is A, then he has exceeded those expectations.
Any and I mean ANY Coach in the entire country College or High School or Church League could have the same SEC record as MM, “ What’s our record Coach?”

MM appears to be over his head. He had middle of the road talent. He has better than average experience (6 players they have started and won NCAA tournament game). This team is not playing up to its current potential.

Why does that matter? If they are good enough to be on a team that won a tournament game, that’s a pretty quality transfer.
ETA. There are 5 players that have started NCAA tournament games and won (I miscounted): K. Williams, J. Hill, Miller, Hannibal, Wilkinson (out with injury now).

BINGO. keep wade and see wtf happens and fight the NCAA. it surely could not be any worse. we gutted the program. for nothing so far.

Missouri, UGA, Creighton, Marquette, TCU, Iowa St., Utah, etc
All returned less than us and all are having better seasons. Tear down and rebuild is no longer an excuse in the NIL era.
WW finished 1st in the SEC in his second year and made it to the sweet 16. MM will get nowhere near that and you want to give him 3 years to build something.

So one coach brought his players from Cleveland State and the other brought his players from Murray State and the players from Cleveland St ended up being better but somehow that's MM fault. He brought what he could. They have played some of their best ball against Tenn, Mizzou and AL. We will see how that translates the rest of the season but anyone calling for his job right now is an idiot.

We've lost ten in a row, but the upcoming schedule is not as formidable. I can realistically see three or four wins in there.

This is the tiger rant you know. People come here to rant about the Tigers playing poorly among other things. If the coach is doing poorly, people rant about that.

MM is Johnny Jones coaching with Trent Johnson’s recruiting. We are in a real bad spot. I would think he’d have a ton of time to recruit with how unprepared the team looks night after night.
