I mean I’ve been critical of Gayle the same as everyone else but she’s naming names, is clearly pissed and has never really called the team out like this, even under DA and we still got people calling her a dumb bitch?

Like come on man. She might be in over her head but she’s trying and speaking on it, which most of the fan base is accusing her of not doing. God damn man, let’s just wait and see how it plays out.

If she gets rid of Loomis and only promotes Ireland or if she doesn’t get rid of Loomis we can all bitch together. Let’s not be fricking imbecile when she does a good thing for once

I'd welcome that if it included Loomis

Loomis can step aside but he’s still part of the Benson trust, meaning he isn’t really going anywhere.

Rappaport quote tweeted Underhill as well. It’s now national news. This is the first time I’ve heard her speak on Loomis’ name with regards to accountability

This is the most pointed I’ve seen Gayle be which is really refreshing honestly.

It’s also the first time I’ve seen her call Loomis out. If Moore goes, loomis has to go with him.

She “forces” him to retire, which he probably wanted to do at 68, and they promote Kai.

She gets a win for looking like a powerful owner and promoting a person of color, which I believe triggers a supplemental draft pick.

Mickey gets a ceremonial victory parade to his new office at 909 Poydras and no one brings up his abject failures.

Any search is still going to be done by Lauscha/Loomis and won’t take more than a day. I just don’t foresee them bringing in an outsider to run things as long as they’re all in positions of power.

DA was a solid coach compared to teef. We can all see Moore has no idea what he is doing, so who is to say the football minds in thr building aren't already telling her he ain't it

As much as it hurts to say this the best thing that could happen is we get our arse beat this week @ NY. If we win then Moore prolly has a much longer leash. Even if we lose to the Steelers in Paris they will use the intl travel as an excuse...

I don't even know anymore...doubt we get any decent head coach right now, don't think Tomlin would take it, can't imagine any established guy would honestly. And then who is our interim? Brandon staley? Doug fricking Nussmeir? I don't think you can talk to any active coordinators till after the season right?

The football minds were the one who hired him. It took Drew calling it out for this to be set in motion.

So much emotional drama being tossed around
quote:

Our 60th season reminds us why that responsibility matters. Generations of families have built their Sundays around the Saints. Their loyalty has sustained this franchise through extraordinary victories and very difficult years. We must never take it for granted.

20 years ago, the Saints returned to the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina. And we all remember Steve Gleason's block party, the roar of the throw, and what it meant to see our city come together once again. Losing this year's anniversary game to Atlanta was truly disappointing. Hearing our fans memories of that homecoming reinforce how deeply this team is woven into their lives. This season we also honor Drew Brees at his Pro Football H at his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction and this past Sunday with his place in the
Ring of Honor.

Watching Drew receive his gold jacket at
Tom Benson Hall Stadium was especially meaningful to me. His legacy includes a championship, extraordinary records, and a lasting commitment to New Orleans. It also included []of preparation, discipline, and accountability. The best way to honor that legacy is to uphold those standards today.

There's a great deal of football ahead of us, but our response must show up on the field.

On October 25th, as you all know, we face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris with a trip to the Giants game this summer.

Our priority is to prepare to win.

Your support deserves a response you can see on the field. We cannot change the
results of our first five games. We are
responsible for what we do. I expect better. Our fans deserve better and I am determined to see that we do it. Thank you all for your attention.

Emotional fodder

She specifically calls out the Falcons and Vikings losses on special nights, and the Steelers and Giants games as must wins and drops a "thank you for your attention to this matter" at the end. She isn't playing around

Talk about emotion after reading that

Blah, Blah, blah. As long as Mickey Mouse Loomis is there nothing will change, They’ll continue to invest in broken down college players who never see the field.

Don't worry about them beating the Giants. They are pretty terrible. There is not one team that I can look at in this schedule and say, Yep the Saints should win that one.
