Gayle Benson gave a very honest speech today at the New Orleans Quarterback Club luncheon.
She did not sugarcoat things.
She made it clear that what we are seeing now is unacceptable and that the fans deserve better.
She acknowledged that the buck stops with her and that people would be held accountable. She mentioned Loomis and Moore by name.

I was at the luncheon. I halfway joked to my tablemates that I thought she was announcing a house cleaning.

The video can be seen at Crescent City Sports

It is well worth watching.

She said things that needed to be said.

Well that's interesting. They better beat Jameis Winston and not embarrass her in her crown jewel of Paris

Underhill said if we lose to the Giants, especially if we look bad doing so, he’s not sure Moore makes it to the end of the year.

Wonder if she thinks it’s happenstance that she has two terribly ran organizations

Just pandering to the crowd as usual. She has shown that she does not hold anyone accountable. Time for her to see to Graves and move on.

Isn't she the one that made the call to fire DA?

Says one of the "Leaders" of the team.

Why isn't he lighting that fire?

Maybe because that’s supposed to be Moore’s job.

No it's never been just the HC's job to get players in line.

It wasn't just Perytons job when Drew and other defensive leaders held closed door player only coming to Jesus meetings in the later years.

Jordan and Davis took that shite on themselves to hold player accountable and call out (in the locker-room) guys who were not putting out effort.

You guys are looking for reason to shite can Moore by telling yourself it's his fault the players are not motivated is typical misguided emotional Saints Talk.

Tom Landry did a pretty good job without yelling like a lunatic, so did Tony Dungey.

She does not want to be the laughing stock when she pulls up to the stables in Paris, Kentucky the following Monday.

I saw McAfee had a piece about the Saints ineptitude yesterday and I saw wake up barstool spoke on it today. Need Underhill to commit now

Can’t get embarrassed on a stand alone, nationally televised game and expect national media not to notice.

Agree.

She's reading a speech that was written for her. This isn't a Q&A where you can even pretend she's sincere. This is a "I feel your pain...no questions please" speech.

That was very refreshing and somewhat unexpected. The way she talked about the next two games in such a concrete manner makes it seem like they might be crucial for Moore keeping or losing his job

If Moore doesn’t win this game against the Giants he won’t be on the plane going to Paris
