Move over Mahomes, there’s a new sheriff in town. And he comes with numerous interceptions!

Its not like Justin fields is a competent nfl qb. Nuss beating him out isnt out of the realm of possibility like you make it seem

Yeah billion dollar organizations never have plans for something like this. They just throw a dart

It’s highly unlikely. 30% of 7th round QBs make the 53 man roster

And the chiefs have a fairly established QB as their backup . His best chances at a roster are likely with a different team

they had such a plan for Nuss they waited til the 7th to take him?

Nuss has an extremely hard uphill battle to make the chiefs. That’s the truth. Impossible? No. Best situation for him? Not even close

He’ll get that cyst evaluated and removed by Wednesday.

A competent set of doctors will fix the problem.

Best of luck to him.

Reid can get his mind right.

The market has clearly spoken about the incredibly low values of BK and Wussmeier.

The Book of Failures is now closed. It’s time to win again.

There are far more competent backups in the nfl than fields currently.

Ok. That’s why the chiefs traded for him ….He is absolutely a plus side backup. Not arguable

Could not ask for a better spot imo.
It's way easier to argue this is a terrible fit

They normally only carry 2 QBs and Fields will be comically ahead of him on the depth chart

He does not fit the Andy Reid QB mold at all

He doesn't really even have much scout team value because his poor athleticism makes it impossible to credibly emulate anyone

This is a premium camp arm pick that you hope you can dump for something better than a 7th down the road. He's realistically cooked

I figure they got him for a game manager slot if Mahomes is not ready to go at the beginning of the season. I am sure they have a backup already but needed a backup to the backup

Fields is the #2 so it’s #3 or Canada/UFL

Has Justin Fields ever shown any semblance that he can be a winner in the NFL? I’ve only seen him stink it up at Chicago and the NYJ.

He had a 38.7 qbr last year. Hes a running threat that cannot throw the ball.
