Good for him. I would imagine going from learning from Joe Sloan and Brian Kelly to Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes will be a massive upgrade.

He can be their next Chad Henne. I think they only took Fields to play until Mahomes was healthy. Once healthy they will dump Fields and Nuss will be #2

He could beat out haener if healthy and lead practice squad. Just never know with injuries when he could get called up. Mahomes coming back from an acl. Regardless if he ever sees the active roster it’s a good learning experience.

He did not sign a new deal with the chiefs, he was traded
