Well only two games were played. LSU didn't win. that series either.

LSU didn’t decide to not play a double header on Friday, and LSU didn’t cancel game 3 at 8:30 AM Saturday morning.

When LSU hosts SEC games Jay isn’t scared to move night games up to noon, or play double headers a day early to beat the bad weather.

Not us.

They had the lead on us in 16 out of the 18 innings we played.

They literally just lost a series to Vanderbilt last week.

Honestly if doesn't matter

Rank 1-8 it doesn't mean anything. Once you get to Omaha all bets are off. Host sites are the only thing that matters. Right now LSU and USCe are the class of the SEC. Vandy, Florida and Arkansas can all easily finish as host and Tennessee isn't as dead as we thought they were.

Flawed way to look at it, especially considering how the rain fricked everything up in game 1.

I'm not going to pretend to know the conversations that went on regarding playing games that weekend, so I won't comment.

That's fine to say, but has nothing to do with rankings.

Once you get to Omaha, any team can catch fire.

Yep, once you get past the top 8, the only thing that matters is getting a home game to open the CWS if you get a top 4 seed.

Assuming we get a top 8 seed (which we should with our cake schedule the rest of the way), I hope we go 0-2 in Hoover.

I agree, but I think it helps prove the point that South Carolina wasn't afraid to play us. That can compete with us and people who think otherwise are foolish.

LSU has already made that statement against multiple top teams. USC just happens to have them on the back half of the schedule where LSU was front loaded.

So that's annihilation?

We annihilated OM this weekend then.

As far as I am concerned they can have the number one spot if it is so important to them. None of that matters till the end of the season.

UC Irvine had the lead on us 17/18 innings in a SR. How did that work out for Game 3

Genuine question, if a South Carolina fan came up to you and said "we have a better overalll record, a better SEC record, we've played a harder schedule, we have a better RPI, and went 1-1 against you while leading for 16 of 18 innings. What is you argument that LSU should be ahead of us?'

What would your response be?

LSU hasn't lost a series all season. They don't have an argument over LSU period.

We will see how those frickers navigate the backend of their schedule! Bout to get real for them fricks

they done fricked up. This weekend sweep of theirs still didn’t give them enough cushion. They’re only 1 game up on us with 4 weekends to go and they finish with Arkansas and Tennessee. They should consider themselves lucky they got game 3 canceled otherwise we’d already be in first place.

So what you're saying is that they have a great argument if it was banana ball?
