They have a case but they won’t be. They’ll have to accept that LSU , despite being decimated by injuries, continues to win and has done absolutely nothing to drop in the polls

So what are we arguing? SC will be ranked #2 or #3. They have a great team.

Yeah, they just lost a series to Vandy, who got absolutely wrecked by the douche bags.

We have lost zero series against the toughest schedule in the SEC to date. We are #1.

Because people like you think that they have no argument as to why they should be ranked #1 when they do.

It sounds like they’re just saying South Carolina has a valid argument which I can see their perspective on the heels of sweeping Florida.

Nonetheless, LSU continues to find a way despite being absolutely decimated by injuries. It really speaks to the talent and depth on this team.

So, it’s your belief that Missouri and Georgia are Top 25 teams ahead of Tennessee and Texas A&M? And Miss St is also a better team than Tennessee and A&M?

Basing it off of.
#1 The head to head matchup.
( SC sardine ballpark aside )
Sharper - more consistent play, batting, pitching, fielding, coaching. Blowout game 1 - ( bring excuses ) homerun to win game 2 ( outplayed again ) they shredded our pitching. They see the ball extremely well like us. I would say maybe even better. 2 seniors who bring much needed value to late close games.

#2 - they just swept Florida
( we just barely swept Ole Miss - a VERY bad Ole Miss team.

Metrics alone I go by the current level of play not future potential. I watched both - they still look like the team that smashed LSU.

I get all the RPI, ABC, who dunnit psychological jargon.

#3 - our pitching continues to be a huge cluster $$$$.

And man - why does Eddie Furniss Jr. Look like a giant baby huey???

In the span of 4 hours the rant has gone from "WE WON'T WIN A REGIONAL" to "NO TEAM HAS AN ARGUMENT TO BE #1 BESIDES US"

Been a fun case study on male emotions.

Let me be clear - I'm happy with any 1-5 seed. #1 will always be the Hard Target.

I am posting statistical facts, not some opinion.

LSU is 10-6 against top 50 RPI teams. SC is 16-5
LSU is 16-7 against top 100 RPI teams SC is 16-6

I second that - only care about a healthy squad ready to rock in a few weeks - could care less about the next 2 weeks. Get healthy. AND FOR GOD SAKES GET WHITE on a treadmill. Looks winded after every AB.

They lost a series last week. How quickly we forget that?

"pretty much" was key.

Again, they have a better conference record than us.

You didn’t watch them lose 2/3 last weekend did you?

Did you watch Jay Johnson use his bullpen in game 1 based off of a 3 game series? What kind of pitching did SC have left for a game 3? No one knows, they didn’t make much effort to get that game played.

Why do some of y'all act like losing one series is the end all be all?

If you are trying to make the claim that you should jump the #1 team in the country, a team who has played a strong SEC schedule and hasn’t lost a weekend series yet, then losing one series kinda is the end all be all.

Their only loss at home was to LSU. It was a split regardless how you try to discredit LSU. Game 3 would have been nice. People keep doubting us, yet unlike SC, LSU has yet to lose a series. Period. Isn't it more impressive that LSU went on the road and won game 2 (without Skenes) It is to me. And yes, LSU got screwed in game 1. And no, that actually was not a blowout.

LOL at barely. A sweep is a sweep and earned. That's cool they swept Florida. South Carolina literally lost their previous series against Vandy on the road. Weird LSU split the series with SC on the road, but Vandy took it from SC. And now Vandy got swept by Tennessee (who LSU took a series from as well.)

#3 - our pitching continues to be a huge cluster $$$$.

And yet LSU continues to win. Hmm. Weird. That seems even more impressive.

Why wouldn't you look at overall SEC record? Or record against top 50 RPI teams?
