Broussard coming in at 4-0 with a runner or two on is a better spot than the one he eventually came into.

Meh, if Broussard pitches like he normally does we get out of the 9th easily.

@TreyMongrue: Looks like some other finals from tonight just bumped #LSU up from 16 to 14 in the RPI – started the day at 18.

McCune has more saves than Broussard recently.

Broussard's last save was 3 weeks ago.

Not one person on here said a single negative thing about the decision to leave Nola in to start the 9th. The few comments were that they liked the move. Then after he struggled, everyone knew Broussard should have started the inning?

I will never say I wanted Broussard to start the 9th... I always wanted Nola to finish the CGSO

Broussard just didn't have it tonight. I really don't think it would have made much difference had he come in one batter sooner. I do think Moore had a chance to tag the tying run had he dove for the plate.

this part has been lost in all this... the throw was up the 1st base line a bit... but it was so far ahead of the runner he very well could have tagged the runner out anyway... would've been close

Moore's never been that great of a catcher. Even Mainieri says so. But Nola likes him.

Probably couldn't have made the tag but I think he should have tried.
