Anyone without P&G glasses sees it that way.

Then LSU was clutch as frick in the 10th.

given the situation and the difficulty of that ball tailing way from him toward the line and back to the infield, it is one of the most impressive catches I've ever seen. Maybe not #1 but absolutely unbelievable.

not even just that, it was the fact of what it did for the game

it literally saved the game and saved broussard's arse

So how was none of that on CPM? None at all?

You are talking out of both sides of your mouth, unless you wanted someone else besides Broussard to pitch once Nola started struggling.

Here is what you said regarding Broussard coming in earlier:

Plus coming in during the inning isn't the ideal spot.

Am I overreacting to say that Foster's catch was the best baseball catch I've ever seen?

In that situation? No. Dude saved the game.

The only way it could be topped, situational wise, would be CWS Championship game, series at 1-1, we are up 5-4 with the bases loaded and 2 out, and Foster makes that catch to win the CWS.

Mengden's numbers this year don't indicate it but he has great stuff and will be tough tomorrow. Hopefully we can get an early lead and into their bullpen early again. Taking pitches isn't a bad thing! We'll need Poche to hold them down early to kill any kind of momentum they may have built late tonight.

The only thing that didn't make much sense was Broussard starting the 10th. But to say that "he fricked us" is asinine.

Broussard coming in at 4-0 with a runner or two on is a better spot than the one he eventually came into.

Other than the bot of the 9th (worst in LSU baseball history?) we were outstanding.

Stevenson not getting as much credit is a shame. He did have a few bad bobbles, but him seriously dominating the base paths in the 10th was unreal. Taking second on a single. Getting to third on a freakishly weird wild pitch. Getting home on a fricking grounder to the pitcher.

what Stevenson did in the 10 was spectacular and took over the game to give us the win.

I truly believe Nola was pulled at the right time... he was motoring along through 8 IP... and 120 pitches is nothing new to him

he had Broussard warming in case... and I truly believe that walk was the correct spot to yank Nola

Broussard being off isn't CPM's fault... and you can't yank your closer until the save is blown

the only CPM decisions I questioned was leaving Broussard in to start the 10th when it was obvious he was off... then going to another pitcher that's been struggling in Person (CPM loves his match-ups)... but both of those were in the 10th
