He was under 100 pitches and had allowed just 4 baserunners before the ninth.

I don't care that he started the 9th. He was rolling. He let the first two guys on and Maineiri didn't go get him.

So could someone explain how Stevenson scored???

it started with an argument and a shotgun in a saloon in New Braunfels, Texas, January 16, 1842...

Nola showed every sign of being able to pitch a complete game.

But the ump decided strikes weren't strikes and extended the game unnecessarily.

I was listening on the radio but I got the impression that Broussard wasn't really warming when Nola ran out of gas. Maybe he wasn't ready. He didn't have it, that's for sure.

Broussard starting the 10th didn't make a lick of sense.

Never send your closer back out to start the next inning after he blows a save.

Broussard just didn't have it tonight. It wouldn't have mattered when he came in tonight.

Broussard was throwing in the beginning of the 9th when Nola took the mound.

He was just all over the place when he came in. One of his 2-2 pitches, called a ball, was definitely strike 3, but when your control is out of control, you get screwed on some calls.

it was the rare "double leap year"... only happens once every 2,000 years... and you have to wait until I get to February 30th in my story... something big happens that day that eventually leads to the LSU win tonight

We heard you the first time. You said Mainieri put him in a bad spot in the 9th. There was no bad spot in the 10th. Maybe he wanted to see how he'd do with a better situation given to him.

Am I overreacting to say that Foster's catch was the best baseball catch I've ever seen?
