McCune has more saves than Broussard recently.

Hit a sinking liner to right that the fielder droppped, Stevenson beat the throw to 2nd.

Then he took 3rd on a wild pitch.

Then Laird hit a chopper to the mound, the pitcher threw home but Stevenson beat the tag.

What did Stevenson do in the 10th?

Got on with a base hit and got to second somehow, third on a pass ball but barely, then scored on a ground ball to the freaking pitcher!

hit a single... ball barely trickled away from the fielder but he broke for 2nd and got there just under the tag (I assume that was scored as a H & E9)

aTm P threw a WP... AS was off... but the ball took a perfect bounce off the wall to the catcher who threw over and AS just barely got under the tag

Laird hit a high chopper to the P who threw home... AS was able to beat the tag for the game winning run

I know this is just how baseball works, but it's sad to see Nola get a no-decision after 8 shutout innings. McCune definitely deserved the save though.

He was under 100 pitches and had allowed just 4 baserunners before the ninth.

I think Nola deserved to start the 9th.

Broussard starting the 10th didn't make a lick of sense.

He stuck with Nola way too long.
