It’s really hard to tell about these schedules when the portal is wide open and we don’t know who most teams’ QBs will be. That said, like the last 2 years, the key to the season will be the neutral site opener against SC in Vegas. Lose that one and you’re playing your whole season behind the 8-ball. Win it, and we should be 5-0 going into our 1st bye and ready to made a run. That 3 game stretch hosting Ole Miss then @Arkansas and @ A&M will be tough. Going on the road back to back weeks in the SEC is hard. But that bye should set us up for just a 3 game stretch before we get our 2nd bye. And we do get Ole Miss at home, but I think they have the latest bye in the conference and were their last game in a 6 or 7 game stretch before their 1st bye. They should be exhausted.
Also good that we get Vanderbilt at home the week before we host OU and they have to go to Tuscaloosa to play Bama while we’re dominating the ‘dores. Could set up nice, depending on a lot of factors. Biggest game of the season is Week 1 against USC imo, though.

From a Band perspective, the LSUAD Delicate Genius's will either have to have the Band Alumni game during an SEC game against Vanderbilt or move it up to early in the season. (Like TBA's have been requesting)
Would love to see it against "Sissy Blue" UCLA on September 21 when it's still warm.
PIMger Stadium should be full for the Bruins and there should be some Energy in the Coliseum.
We'd all prefer playing for a Full House with some life. (Just like the team).....

Most of wife’s family went to OU and you have no idea how much they hate LSU

I guess you must think LSU’s schedule is weaker then. They have an extra G5 opponent, but overall they are playing more teams that are ranked this year than LSU. Obviously things will change next year, but I don’t think there’s any reason to think that will impact Bama opponents more than LSU’s.

Georgia - Alabama
Missouri - Ole Miss
Oklahoma - Oklahoma
LSU - ????
Tennessee - USC
Wisconsin - UCLA
???? - Texas A&M
Auburn - Florida
The rest of the schedule is weak for both teams. The only way you conclude Alabama has a weak schedule is if you consider LSU weak.
