Last time with two byes was 2013. We had one before Bama (lost 38-17) and before a Johnny Football-led A&M (won 34-10).

What a schedule, probably the toughest strength of Schedule in LSU history for a regular season.

Brutal schedule? Go look at Florida schedule. That has to be #1 toughest in nation.

I feel 10-2 or 11-1 and in the 12 team playoffs.

They are dropping FSU, Missouri and Auburn and adding Oklahoma, USC, and UCLA. I’m not sure how next year is tougher than this year. Yes, historically speaking, those are big name programs, but they probably won’t produce a Top 5 and a Top 10 finish like this year’s opponents did.

When you add FSU, Miami, and UCF in the non-conference schedule, that may be accurate. Oklahoma has a brutal conference schedule with Alabama, Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Only if you think LSU is weaker than Texas A&M. Their schedule matches up team for team other than that.

Meanwhile, Bama opens with Western Kentucky and their toughest non-conference foe is Wisconsin. Just not right, because they will already have the press building them up in the polls...

I would rather play Nichols State before USC. We have lost too many first game big name team matchups.

If we have 2 losses before October again, all hell will break loose on this board

Especially if one of them is to Nicholls State…
