I am a lifelong Tiger fan who also had CU season tickets for a decade so I watch CU more closely than most. The fact that Sanders did that at CU makes the degree of difficulty much higher.
Objectively compare their respective debuts; Kelly in 22 and CU Saturday. Now think about having basically the same challenge, -rebuilding a roster. Sanders gets an A+ and Kelly gets a F. Just in their debuts one team was disciplined, mistake-free, motivated, playing with internal fire and a chip on their shoulder. The other was LSU. Which team looked like it had an identity and a winning culture?
That being the case let's see how Sanders does the rest of the year. But it sure is fun seeing someone put aside all the coaching genius BS, and just line his guys up and win.

He’s confident and not scared, his players feed on that. They actually believe it. Confidence and SWAG all over the CU sidelines. CBK looks scared, coaches that way, and his players feed on that. This is not an X O thing comparing these coaches play calling, it’s their approach to competition.

But TCU isn't good this year. And they were actually a bit of a fraud last year too. Had to mount a big comeback against Michigan, and got destroyed by UGA. Had multiple close games in the Big12 last year.
