re: Deal for BK

I think he loves the money too much, and if they want him for their long-term plans (see below), they'll have to give it up. Didn't BK back out of a divorce because he saw how much it would cost?

At any rate, both sides are receptive to the idea of LSU fielding and competing as a team similar to the Savannah Bananas after a feasibility study showed this is the best way to fill seats in the future.
There is a structural change occurring and it is going to take a different type of coaching to be able to "nudge" the kids that play football these days. The change is like a new technology that some coaches can't or won't want to learn. There's so much money at stake so there will be a lot of moving in and out of coordinators, but the head coach will be given some time because no one knows who will be able to adjust and the settlements haven't even hit, yet.
"This may be the dumbest post that makes it in this board this year!"

Hold my corndog.

Les (let 'er rip) Miles. Fake it til you make it and always have that want.
Two good DEs would stop it, but if the defense can't stop it, they quit. Running QBs and not taking yourself out of a game kills a defense. Taking yourself out kills it, too. That's why you don't do it, but you also don't make the tackle. Wait until they all form a union and negotiate lesser punishment for missed tackles, and maybe even go on strike.
It's true, though. Health care didn't provide many options not too long ago, but now it's doctors aksin' "so whatcha whatcha whatcha want?!"

re: Les Miles is suing LSU

He has a "want to" sue LSU.
ESPN ranked them based on their Diversity statements submitted to the schools when they were hired. They used DeBoer's DIE statement from Washington, which is a real doozie.
FSU is 8-2 overall against the Tigers, with a 5-game streak going. If they in their heads, it must be working.
They haven't beaten wake since before the wuhan flu.
SEC teams don't have to win the out of conference games at the beginning of the season to still be considered a playoff team. But given the current state of college football, it's more plug and play with less cohesion, even in a locker room full of elite players.

The AD at LSU got the best coach money could buy based on an employer that is known for making long-run changes in the short-run. The guy at TCU may be ready in a year.
Colorado will be a bit of a surprise because no one really has game film for them. Deion should know this, but he's too busy screaming "do y'all believe me now?!"

He keeps running his mouth about HBCU and Colorado will become an HBCU on the field. F$%King DICK! That win last night was for him!
