Meanwhile Ed's on pace to do it in two.

7-4 (5-3)...... 10-1 (7-1)........ 6-2 (4-2)*
9-3 (5-3)...... 10-2 (6-2)....... 9-3 (6-2)
8-4 (5-3)...... 10-2 (6-2)**.... 9-3 (5-3)
11-1 (7-1)**...... 7-5 (3-5)...... 12-0 (8-0)**
9-2 (6-2)........ 9-3 (5-3)....... 5-5 (5-5)
...................... 10-2 (6-2)
...................... 12-0 (8-0)**
...................... 10-2 (6-2)
........................ 9-3 (5-3)
........................ 8-4 (4-4)
........................ 9-3 (5-3)*
........................ 2-2 (1-1)

What the hell is this formatting?

And I think everyone except for relatives of Orgeron agree if this year’s record is similar to last years (5 losses) he’s gone.

Les wasn't fired simply because he lost games. It was because he REFUSED to address the issue as to why he was losing those game.

OK, but does what we see now look like what he was fired for was fixed? Or does it look like we now have additional problems AND we will be losing more games?

Looks like Ed is down same path but he thinks he's fixing the issue but he's not, he hired inexperienced people to fix the problem

The thing helping O is that he won a natty 2 years ago and gave the school the first heisman winner in half a century. Les lost his last natty game (in a terrible fashion).

Les should have been fired BEFORE those three seasons. Would have spared us his incompetence and goofiness, not to mention the lawsuits and settlements involving any female student he stalked and sniffed.

Look I think that everyone realizes that we were sold a bill of goods with Orgeron that was way different from what we actually got. He is in way over his head and will (definitely should) probably be fired this year.

That said....all this white knighting for Les Miles on here is pretty dumb especially given what we know about Les now. I mean come on.

Exactly....I think the difference between Les and Ed will be that Ed will be fired because he doesn't know how to fix the issues causing the losses.

It’s not white knighting. It’s a recognition that 9-3/8-4 being the norm is a fireable offense at LSU. Take a look at O’s record outside of 2019.

And three columns are for three coaches for those wondering

Nope. He wasn't fired until his stubborn style resulted in consistent losses to teams we shouldn't lose to. Regardless of what you read here, winning is what matters. When you start consistently losing, that's when you get fired. O is firmly on that path at the moment, and better get it fixed ASAP if he wants to remain LSU's coach.
