Some of you have tried to diminish what Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame have done this year
will you agree that Notre Dame's regular season schedule this year was much easier than LSU's regular season schedule?

Also needs to be acknowledged by Notre Dame fans, if Kelly had been coaching there under this new 12 team playoff format that Freeman benefited from this year, Kelley would have had 2 more playoff appearances on his resume.

Wrong. I am not an O State fan but they win by 21 easy. ND got 3 field goals against Georgia. One TD from a fumble at the 7 and a kick return. I think ND had 105 yards passing. What a joke. They had the perfect storm. If Georgia had it's regular starter they win easy.

How did you interpret that from what I wrote?

Because look where you're at. You're on an LSU forum talking about BK & Freeman. We aren't going over to ND boards. You guys have this weird fascination with him. Get over it he's gone and you have your new Savior.

We all know why you're here and trying to act friendly but we're not all the dumbass coonasses you think we are.

Come back after the Ohio State game. I bet you don't

Because Brian Kelly is a proven program builder every where he has been dipshit. They had a combined record the 2 years prior to him arriving of 10-15. Charlie Weis was horrible. Brian Kelly made Notre Dame relevant again. Freeman hasn’t proved that he could do it because he hasn’t ever done it, not to mention the reason Freeman is at Notre Dame is because Brian Kelly hired him and recognized him as a great coach he wanted for his staff in the first place. So who is more responsible for Freeman and Notre Dame being successful Freeman or the coach that built the program from the ground up, left it fully intact, and hired Freeman in the first place dumbass.

The great things freeman has done is beat Indiana, Georgia with their backup qb instead of 2 year starter, and big game James Franklin?
I’ll admit if they beat OSU, then kudos.
But as said many times, the teams ND beat don’t come close to the behemoth’s Kelly had to play in the BCS and playoffs.
BK was right about ND since Quinn admitted the resources didn’t start flowing until they got left high and dry.

Most LSU fans aren’t pleased with BK’s run yet bc we expect to compete for championships.

Kelly is doing nothing at LSU compared to Freeman.

Are you saying Brian Kelly, like Chip Kelly, cannot win the big games?

I don't really like Kelly, but he is the most winningest Head Coach in the history of Notre Dame, is he not?

You sorry, ungrateful, sad arse sacks of complete monkey shite should be on your knees begging to kiss BK’s arse. I’m not the biggest Kelly fan but he brought ND back to prominence after 2 decades of irrelevance.

Freeman walked into a well ran program with top 10 talent. So frick right the frick off. I can’t stand Ohio St & Ryan Day but I hope they beat the living shite out of ND and Freeman bolts for the NFL.

Your team is playing in the National Championship game in less than a week and you felt the need to post a long diatribe about your ex-coach?

The butthurt is flowing through you.

No one on here cares about your opinion. So why take the time as a Notre Dame fan to Create an account, and then make a meaningless post. Go bitch about it on your Notre Damn message board.

Still true, dude.

"It was largely BK's recruits."

Who said that? That only works for LSU coaches. Specifically Les Miles, who was winning with Nick Sabans players for what seemed like 7 years.

It's ND fans and the crap media that love to shite on LSU coaches who bring this up constantly. You MAKE us not like you. The "resources" comment from BK was probably 100% true in 2021. I would bet that ND decided to step their game up in the ensuing NIL era when he left.

You people should be thanking BK. Anyway, after y'all get boatraced in the biggest game, come back and hang out for a bit.

ND gave Freeman what BK told them he needed to succeed. If they had given him what he wanted he never would have left. Horse teeth Brady Quinn has said as much in an interview.

Let me clarify some things for you on the “winningest coach ruse”.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own “facts”.

Brian kelly is not the winningest coach in Notre Dame history. Also, in order to reach Knute Rockne’s winning percentage kelly would have had to win his next 200+ games in a row. That’s not a typo.  (Plus, that’s giving him the benefit of 21 NCAA vacated wins.)  If you go to the NCAA website you can find the Notre Dame Public Infractions Report (PIR). The NCAA specifically prohibits using vacated wins for coaching milestones. His win total is 21 lower.  He did not eclipse Rockne’s win total in any ethical NCAA approved capacity.…. However, 5 years ago kelly did gain the mantle of Notre Dame’s “losingest” coach in school history.  He’ll most likely carry that through eternity.

PS kelly was pummeled by the NCAA in 2016. He was also placed on NCAA probation for recruiting violations.
