Woodward and Pelini were great friends for years, Ed never met the guy. It is common sense to see who the “driving force” behind that hire.

You think we are in better shape now than when Les left? That’s insane. We had 39 players dress out. As bad as Les was at the end, we always had a pretty full roster

If it was a legit bowl game would have had a lot more Participation. No one comes to LSU to play K state in the Texas Bowl.
But it is probably worse, yea, but that is due to the transfer portal that didn’t exist when miles left. Guys like max, Ricks, etc, etc would be returning bc there used to be a punishment to leave. Now there isn’t. So it is not comparable situation really.
