Admittedly he probably relied too heavily on Marucci. Remember Marucci came up with these score that they used to quantify character, and theh leaned heavily on it. Gave tons of props to Marucci and his magic formula for the success of the title season.
Apparently it had some kinks to be worked out. bc it defintiely didn’t work so well since then.
Never heard of Marucci score-carding recruits. We used to have professionals that could evaluate talent and make the call with very few misses. Orgeron's approach was lazy and he relied on star gazing and just handing out hundreds of offers.
Justin Thomas, Jarell Cherry, Travez Moore, Davin Cotton, Nelson Jenkins, Dominic Livingston, Dantrieze Scott, Joe Evans, TK McLendon, Desmond Little. So many reaches, so few actual SEC caliber players.

that stuff was pretty well known and had quite a few articles written about it.
Jack thought he cracked a code…it worked great for a couple seasons…then maybe didn’t the next year.

One wonders if that moron did not intentionally wreck things.

Will certainly isn't wrong, but Ed is gone. I have closed the door on last year, the good and the bad. I'm optimistic on what CBK is going to bring us in the future and we need rally around this program, coaches, staff and players.
It's time to put it to bed and move on from last year folks.

Who would trade the 2019 NC for ‘not’ having a shite show now? Just curious.
