In regards to RICHARD LEE MURPHY, we have questions and we graciously elected you to be our BATON ROUGE MAYOR, so we expect and demand some answers.
You are over the BR City Police so please do your job and find these answers:
1. Why was Richard Murphy not arrested after his release from hospital, minor injuries if any, when he HAS AN ACTIVE WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST.
2. why has it been 9 days for Tox report and when was blood sample taken. Date and time please
3. Alcohol or not, he is responsible for vehicular homicide on 2 counts. So why is he free right now
4. How did BR police see accident or get there within seconds of it happening.
5. Was he being chased by police
, i think so.. find out. DO NOT LET THIS BE A COVER UP.
6. Your answers will be verified and if you are HONEST, you won't mind that.
7. Why are you allowing BR Media to continue to post videos and even show my brother's license plate, i have NEVER SEEN THIS HAPPEN BEFORE. The family DEMANDS respect and ANSWERS.
We are great LAW ABIDING, not like Murphy, who live in your hometown and voted you into office because we were tired of the BR bull and looks like it continues

Not to come off as insensitive but great isn't the word I would use to describe Murphy's time at LSU. He was a depth piece his entire 4 years here, like the 3rd or 4th RB on the depth chart any given year and hardly got any carries. By all accounts he was a good team leadership guy though, hence getting #18 his senior year, but that's really the only noteworthy thing about his time here.

Also, not sure how he expects the mayor to control the media in regards to point 7. It’s horrible what he is having to deal with but that letter/post is not the best way to handle it.

This may very well be true? I read the thread yesterday and I remembered R. Murphy as a player, so I read the entire thread.
Yes, the guy that started the thread knew the story, But his question was? why had it been over a week with no news report? Why was Murphy release without charges when he had another outstanding warrant? Why was toxicolgy taking so long? all valid questions.
I think he's probably a lurker/poster here and knows how TD runs with information (right or wrong), had a personal connection with the victims and was curious why this wasn't in the news.
