spreads don’t mean shite right now. Did they have us losing to FSU by 21?

Who gives a frick about a spread 8 weeks away? You don't think that might change between now and then depending on how teams progress, injuries etc.?

I think we get to 7-1 going into Alabama game, and finish 10-2. Our biggest game of the season is now @ Ole Miss. We should win the next 3, beat Ole Miss and you’re looking at a top 6 matchup in Tuscaloosa.

Well we were 2.5 point favorites against FSU and lost by 21. Do you recall what the spread was against Texas A&M last year?

The positive is that we hired the best 10-2 coach in the country.

This board going to melt when LSU loses to Miss State

Sad thing is I don't think this board realizes they have a QB who's capable of shredding us like Travis did.

I'll take a ban bet right now that says Moo State doesn't shred us, however you want to go about defining what shredding is.

The final score doesn't really tell the whole story of MSU vs SELA. MSU struggled with their new offense for a big chunk of the game. If we have issues with them it's time for the real alarm bells.

9-3 is best I can come up with looking at our schedule if our offense is the same, and our defense cannot get a rush or play man coverage. In a zone without a pass rush any solid QB will pick us apart.

Wrong.

The biggest game of the season is Mississippi State.

11 am in Starkville.

If we don’t start quick and we get down early then this season will collapse.

I think this team is better than they were Saturday night. Hell the first half was actually a decent game for a season opener and honestly, I thought we had a good shot at winning it at halftime or at the very least would lose another very close one.

That being said, I don’t see this team making it to the playoffs (though it’s not impossible because I don’t think any team from the east or the west is very good this year). I think every team drops a few games this year.

You better ring the alarm bells then if FSU didn't open your eyes up to serious issues. I don't care how talented FSU is you should not get dragged through rocks like it's a hate crime in the second half like they did. They flat out gave up and looked like S&C on the team is a serious red flag.

This team is soft and Jayden Daniels is who we thought he is. Always does enough not to get benched and look decent but he's never enough to take control over a game. You get in a shootout you're doomed. He hasn't looked good in what, 5 straight games now? Same thing with House's defense. It fell to pieces at the end of last year but we thought it was depth. He can't use that excuse here. All the problems ending last year carried into this season.

This team is not that good.
