For those who think Alex Box doesn’t need to be improved

This isn’t meant to be a complaint thread, just something that I was thinking about as I’m watching the Miss St/Ole Miss game. 16,423 is the attendance record they set today. Between 2 unranked teams that are 3-10 in SEC play. Of course it helps that it’s a rivalry game, but it’s also because of the atmosphere that they have created at Dudy Noble. It sucks to say, but that atmosphere is better than any regular season atmosphere that we will have at the Box this year. Just shows how important have a nice stadium and fan friendly atmosphere is.

I hate MSU but i would love to attend a game there just for atmosphere. Its sad that we let some of these teams have a better ball park than us

It’s a rivalry game and was expected. The Tenn series showed one of the top crowds in the country this season, but no one talks about it because all we here is the negative.

It’s laughable how much nicer Arkansas and State’s facilities are. Our player amenities are top notch but there’s a big drop in regards to the stadium.

It’s also the last two NCs and they hate one another. They’d have 14k if they played on a goat ranch.

That only works if MSU is winning, which they haven't been.
Their crowds have been sparse for the last month. This record was solely because of the rivalry and it was "Super Bulldog Weekend" tying into the spring game and the Polk statue unveiling.
With that said, Alex Box needs to be improved.

It’s insane that the box isn’t a top 5 sec stadium. We have the top team and we were hosting number 12 in a rubber match and it was half filled and sounded like a church. I’m pretty sure fricking healing place gets louder on sundays than the box was today.

Ole Miss' Swayze atmosphere is hella overrated. The park is tiny but gets everyone talking about how great it is because RF throws beer in the air.
Overall, The Box is a much better facility than Swayze.

I know. And I was at the Tenn series. It was great. The atmosphere wasn’t as good as what I’m watching right now. That’s just a testament to what Miss St has done to create an enjoyable atmosphere.

The Box is a top 5 stadium.
Dudy Noble is the best and Baum is second. The Box is probably third.
