Last year, yes.

I know they were coming off of a national championship last year but they were 26-30. They weren’t good and still managed to pack the stadium several times. They wouldn’t have done that if it weren’t for that stadium is all I’m saying.

1. All reported attendance at EVERY school is paid/ticket sales.

2. Both the Arkie series games and especially Tennessee games were well-attended and had an electric atmosphere.

I know. Which is why you have to actually look at how many people are in the stadium.

There is no doubt the Box needs improvement starting with getting the bullpens off the field

Don’t think you would get an argument the box doesn’t need improvements. Hard to compare to a place that holds more and was recently built. Only thing Scott can do is pick up and call the big boy donors about financing the deal..

Only if we had a true in state rival, it would be pretty electric too.

The Box isn't the problem. We are the problem. The State atmosphere was much better than ours today.

Their fans do a lot better job than our fanbase does. I really don't like throwing shade at our fans, since I haven't been able to make a game yet, but we need to do a better job as fans

I will be there for the Bama and State series and I will do my part

It was better when the outfield looked like a trailer park. Was it super bulldog weekend this weekend?

it’s a shame that the new box was built while every new stadium from little league to the majors was doing cool unique fan friendly designs and interesting old feeling parks. We built a shithole from the 70’s.

It was pretty awful today. The same storms that hit BR this morning hit us this afternoon

Starkville has a population of 25,000 people. It’s hard to attract 15,000 people to any singular event in a town of 25,000.

Next best attraction in Starkville was to go watch Redd Sanderson paint his new barn...

You got Columbus, Tupelo, and Meridian in the vicinity, but you are correct there is not a lot of folks up there. My funny story on Starkville is that one day I was up there eating lunch as I drove through and the only damn radio station I could get was a country station out of Tuscaloosa AL.

Not really. It’s just to highlight how a nice stadium and fan friendly atmosphere can help attendance. And I didn’t say anything about today’s attendance at Alex Box, so I’m not sure why today’s weather has to do with anything.

So why don’t we do things like post- game concerts?!?! Too gimmicky?!?! People love that shite. Having been to all of the above mentioned venues, I agree. Our stadium is nothing special. Sorry, truth. Geaux Tigers.

No, it's not flip the stadium so it's facing the levee there is plenty room in front of the marine/petroleum facility. Or move the marine petro facility.
It will cost about 60m for the stadium. And Plus the cost of the condo bldgs. you can build two condos in left and right field and lease them out. Keep the left field and right field bleachers an build a berm in center field.
