Their crowds have been sparse for the last month.

Their last home series vs SC had 9K, 10K, and 12K attendance

State had 14K earlier this season vs AZ State. Ole Miss was the opponent in 2 of the 15 largest attendance games ever at State,

You are right for 22. By 400 for the season. I don't think we will be behind them this year. But the question is do we spend 100M to increase attendance by 400? Do we spend that money to upgrade the facilities for the athletes?

We probably could have done something more creative when the slate was blank
It's a baseball field man. It's literally an open canvas and one of the easiest to build in the offseason. It's literally just building around a field. It will be much quicker for the box renovation than it would be for a PMAC upgrade. There's no reason not to do it at this point and I think the original ideas for the new box where very underwhelming. The old box was rocking.

Not to mention they could easily build it in sections and consistently upgrade it if they build it somewhat modular.

I'm happy I'm not the only person who thinks these thoughts

Baum is a more fan friendly stadium. Individual seats throughout. Great outfield area. The new Box has so little character and seems to have been done on the cheap. LSU and it's fans deserve the best stadium in the country.

I think LSU needs to kind of copy on the idea that Coors Field uses and put a Cypress Tree setup in the batter's eye (with grass berm on either side). Colorado uses their state tree (and Aspen trees) for Coors Field:
