Ah...must just be the perspective. Looked higher...I'm actually a two rows behind you a section over just about on the 5.

That doesn't surprise me, lots of unused visitor tickets and single game sales that don't happen.

That, plus we get a lot of "tourists" up there which you'd think would off set the leaving early thing. You'd think folks that don't go as often would want to stay...but that doesn't really happen. Couple that sat in the seats in front of us were using tickets given to them by the season ticket holder (she introduced herself and told us that) then left at half time.

I figure our section is technically the least desirable in the whole stadium

It is, though I've never understood that. Love it up there.

Most people are going to get butt hurt over this, but seriously, why even go? How can the recruits that see this or even the players themselves get excited to play in front of a fanbase that leaves the game before halftime? frick that traffic, just dont go

those downvotes are people who leave early

probably 4 people that have company tickets.

ETA: downvoters, why do you spend all that money for half of something? do you leave a movie theatre halfway through the movie too?

Are y'all 12? I've been to games in tons of different stadiums and this isn't unique to LSU. LSU fans stay longer and louder than anyone else. This is all just entertainment and when I'm done being entertained by it, I get up and leave. Fact is, I'll do what I want. If it wasn't for people like me, you broke dicks that only contribute with your measly ticket price and drunken yelling, wouldn't even have this stadium and its experience. You're welcome.

You do realize that people use halftime to go use the restroom and get concessions...right?

Also, if we were in realistic playoff contention, the stadium would be more full, but given that is likely out the window...and it's a terrible opponent, you have the results you see.

The first half was Les Miles-esque. People have had 10 years of that. It will take awhile to get that stench off of the program. They wasted many of Saturday nights in the stadium watching us squeak by Troy and other terrible teams.

But with that comes the fact that our stadium is generally no longer loud or intimidating, and our fanbase has no right to be offended when outsiders say the same thing

If you care what other fanbases say, then that's more of a personal insecurity problem than an attendance problem.

Many of our fans are corpulent, torpid slugs who can't muster the meager energy or passion necessary to sit in one place and scream for three hours. Then they cry when you point out their laziness and invoke a bunch of quasi-libertarian horseshite excuses for leaving.

I'm confused. You took that picture AT HALFTIME and you think people should be in their seats??? Where's your picture from the same perspective at 10:00 minutes left in the 3rd quarter when everyone had made their way back to their seats? Your photo is biased.

No shite, after the game I walked back to the Ag Lot where I parked, and I pulled out of the parking lot and didn't touch my brakes until I got to the Acadian/Perkins intersection.

I park on Astor and stay till the end for every game. I am on the Interstate in 10-15 minutes for 4 years now.

Are you seriously denying this as fact? Because I didn't list all of the terrible games?

In addition to this, he would go up by 2-3 touchdowns, then sit on the ball for the entire second half. Thrilling stuff.

But he's gone now, and it's a new era with BeBe.

I meant super high def tv but i also meant "advances" in the sense that every game is nationally televised now as well.
