A couple of things:

1. It’s a short term problem as the kids go to school at 5 or so. If your kid goes to a public school parents get relief after five years if you plan to pay for private school think of childcare as paying private school early.

2. This is something AI and robots can help with IMO. I don’t need or want Latoya or Shannon trying to do anything but make sure they’re alive. Be thankful they aren’t getting hit or taught early to be gay now. When robots do it, each different childcare place could be programmed to be a little more conservative or liberal giving parents a choice.

3. This is one of the ultimate consequences of women in the workplace and the breakdown of family support structures. Certainly not everyone has family who could help with kids, but many people have a lot of family members and if all the women were at home, they could certainly help with the kids and in a much more personal way that you would want by your family.

Truth be told no human would want to take care of eight Rugrats or more at a time so instead of trying to make the square peg fit in a around hole by lowering cost for something so exhausting, let’s answer the family structure problem at its core. If 2 parent work then you should have enough to cover your childcare, if it’s too high for you, your kids can go to a cheaper place, but that’s for you to decide.

I do think with AI ultimately requiring fewer jobs. Elon Musk says eventually humans will not have to work this should allow more families, the ability to allow the mother or father for that matter to spend more time with the kids.

Probably tied to times of drought and famine. In places with large populations and especially early human civilization, feeding that many people could have been a problem. Maybe it served multiple purposes, 1) sacrifice to the Gods by giving a child 2) fewer mouths to feed esp those who can’t feed themselves.

Who even knows how prevalent incest or other health related reasons a kid might not make it from early age.

Heck back thing women were probably getting banged all the time and getting prego every 9 months. I’m sure many didn’t make it. Maybe even multiple women in the same household. Like a chicken coop lol

Trump is actually cracking on the Russian military. Any of the world leader countries of Europe would destroy Russia. UK, FRA, GER, POL, etc…I mean really they’ve lost like 1 million troops, most of their Navy, most of this armor to a country who gave away their nukes and took 7 yrs to throw together an army lol. Russia has been exposed and all countries know now they really have nothing to fear. Russia is incapable of inflicting any real harm on former Soviet states. Even then their best tactic is corruption and disinformation subversion money laundering. They can’t really execute an invasion of a mid-tier defended country. It’s laughable…Putin has exposed the bear to be more like a nutria rat.

I could see wanting a controlled environment for a mushroom or LSD trip if you were really trying to deal with something like PTSD, but mdma, X, Molly. I’ve never heard of a “bad” experience with it. Always postive…..even if cut with something and you don’t feel the goods do to speak but I don’t think you would need and administrator in a clinical setting….

What Rusia had been doing for years was primarily subverting the Democratic process affecting leadership in all those Soviet countries in Europe and Asia for that matter. Which essentially means install more dictatorships like he is. More of those there the bigger the threat to the rest of us. Never mind the fact that for the love of God, the US and the West have our problems, but 95% of the humans in any former soviet state would jump at the chance to have a good stable job and home in the West. To me it just proves Democracy isn’t perfect but it’s the best the majority of humans can ask for at this point in our history and he is a cancer to it, in his own country no less. What a dumbass that needs to be taken out, for his own people’s good.

ETA: he has also fought wars in Georgia, Chechnya, crime and Ukraine, so yes he has been attacking here and there through this subversion process.

I’m headed to Purgatory in Durango today. Lots of powder I hear. Started skiing at 21 and have been probably 10 times now at 45. Never had a lesson, I’ve skied a few blacks but I stick with the blues. Legs do get burned out back and forth on those blacks. I’m going to try to lean more tomorrow, I don’t guess I’ve ever consciously tried to lean forward more. Any body got more tips?
