There's your west sideline right before 2nd half kickoff of a tied game on a beautiful Saturday night at only 8:08 pm.

By comparison, South Endzone was still pretty full

That south end zone is empty as shite. It just doesn't have as many bright yellow seats.

Most people are going to get butt hurt over this, but seriously, why even go? How can the recruits that see this or even the players themselves get excited to play in front of a fanbase that leaves the game before halftime? frick that traffic, just dont go

FYI this is not just an LSU problem, but when you combine technological advances with the current hangover the fans are experiencing from recent successes no longer being matched, you have a recipe for regular half full stadiums.

Eventually the game day experience will be improved and the fan base will become hungry again and the crowds will thicken.

A lot of those West side seats were empty early on.

The good news? I think they hit more traffic leaving early than I hit staying to the end.

No shite, after the game I walked back to the Ag Lot where I parked, and I pulled out of the parking lot and didn't touch my brakes until I got to the Acadian/Perkins intersection.

How else would they get their picture for snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram?

First...your seats in 632 or 633? You look to be a section over or so towards the North from me but a bit higher up.

Second, yeah...the west including the student section emptied at half. And as always, the sEZ was the latest to leave.

Third...our EU was sparse to start...like always.

632, first row above the chairbacks.

That doesn't surprise me, lots of unused visitor tickets and single game sales that don't happen. I figure our section is technically the least desirable in the whole stadium

people should be able to leave the game whenever the frick they want too. They paid for their tickets, not you.

Every single person in that stadium has the right to leave when they want, and every one does for their own reasons. But with that comes the fact that our stadium is generally no longer loud or intimidating, and our fanbase has no right to be offended when outsiders say the same thing

Students just have other interests in today's world.
I sat through some pretty miserable football when I was a student back in the Hallman days. I was amazed at the people that left when the score was tied at the half.
