In both instances, Alleva rushed to judgement without all of the facts and bowed to public / political pressure immediately. This is his MO and he needs to go.
The fact that LSU hired him after the Duke Lacrosse scandal speaks volumes about the administration; not positively in my opinion.
Wade might be gone and he might have done this to himself but none of us know the facts of the case yet. You are as bad as Alleva.

Yes, I've read these statements. I also see Will Wade cannot - and WILL not- deny wrongdoing. If my boss approached me and said, "Hey, I've heard from some folks that you've committed some serious on the job violations. I need you to come by my office and tell me what's going on here." Guess what- if I don't come by, I'm likely going to be suspended or fired.
Also, if you are ever in a position where you have to say, "My legal team has advised me not to speak to my boss", you're not in a good place.
Again- if Will Wade would come out and say, "I cannot comment on this matter at this time but I categorically deny I have committed any illegal or inappropriate action with regards to recruiting or paying for players", I would give him all the leeway he wants. The fact he can't say this is telling.
Also, if you are ever in a position where you have to say, "My legal team has advised me not to speak to my boss", you're not in a good place.

He is currently a witness for a case that these recordings are for. So he should not be commenting publicly.

WW did not say that.
WW did not even say "My legal team has advised me not to speak to the NCAA."
WW told FKing and Alleva, "I will speak with you privately, but my legal team has advised me not to speak to the NCAA or publically about matters I may have to testify to, until next month's trial is complete."
WW's idiotic, dumbass, discombobulated "bosses" then suspended him.
Wade has not refused to speak to anyone.
He simply requested a one month delay in potentially adversarial and defacto public interrogations.
