Thanks for a great season of BPB, Cheer!
Not that way I thought this one would go, already looking forward to next season

Oh come on, give FL credit. They played fundamentally sound ball and let LSU continually shite the bed. That is how you win at TD-Crap stadium.
Sorry CPM does not know this, hell, his team can't bunt properly. This is all on coaching and Kramer.

Well that was a collective team effort loss for the series. Bone head plays at the bases and bad pitching decisions in the 4th yesterday. Hate to see the team with the superior talent give one away like that. But hey congrats to the gators. Tigers just didn't play clean enough to win it. Great season though just wish it would have ended better.

What was the fricking plan if we had gotten the runs in the 7/8? Surely he didn't honestly think he was gonna have Hess get them all the way home?
Great season all around, but it really bothers me that they hung Hess out to dry like that to end it.

Win or lose love my Tigers??

BS - Florida won - they made some great defensive plays and we walked too many (some of that on umps to be sure which i agree were the worst around the plate). I question a great many calls by our head coach though - just too many baserunning errors and bad game coaching.

You're welcome. Hate that it had to end like that... but I suppose that's how every season ends except for 6 of them. Still a great season though

Oh well. My niece is going to India next week. Just sent her a text:

Florida only gave up 14 runs in 6 games this CWS, and played great defense. Only 5 in 5 games if you take out the 9-2 loss to TCU.
Still though. This one stings. LSU simply couldn't execute.

Thanks, Cheer! You've done an amazing job all year

Yea, gotta give the ball to beck right there.
Good experience for Hess though. He'll be a stud next year hopefully. Florida took what was given to them and made zero mistakes. Unfortunately that's how you win in Omaha now. Gorilla ball don't cut it.

Countless mental errors and still had a chance to win both games until the very end. Can't ask for more than that. Fun run. Good to enjoy the stay in Omaha again. Hopefully it's not another 8 years.
