but, rather for LSU to accept penalties and sanctions that will absolutely ruin this current season of LSU football. Fines, head coach suspension, banned from post season play and future immediate Expulsion as soon as the SEC finds some future crime committed by LSU.

Yeah frick that. And frick the SEC.

If we’re not gone…Sankey has to go. The entire SEC board has to go as well. For “lack of institutional control.”

Let's get real here. The SEC ain't expelling LSU. It's blowing righteous smoke up the media's arse to appear in control.

Yes federal court filings and public statements from leadership are useless.

Finebaum on CNN?

LSU and Lane are boosting so many media careers, they don’t ever want this to end.

He said the opposite on his show today. This skinny trash calls Lane a "Child", yet checkout his instagram where he's acting like an idiot with his shorts, showing his skinny legs and trying to act "gangster".

If anyone would just shove this boney human he would probably pass out and die.

It shouldn’t matter whether they want LSU out or not. They want your coaches head and want him gone. You shouldn’t want LSU to stay in a conference like that.

Check back with me Thursday afternoon when the list of sanctions comes out.

This was a "no shite" outcome. Didn't he suggest they would earlier?

The chances of LSU getting expelled when the players weren’t rostered was 0.0%.

The chances of LSU getting expelled even if they were rostered was 0%.

That is not how things are handled: fines, scholarship cuts, bowl bans, probation, etc.

Kicking a team out of the conference is not a remedy.

Because we filled the roster I’m guessing

I’m guessing that was the whole point. Make LSU fill the roster and remove any and all doubt or impose sanctions that would tie LSU up in court for the next year.

I’m not afraid of the SEC kicking LSU out, that would cause too much chaos with the people who give gives them money. It’s the idea of sanctions that are designed to ruin our season. F that.

Might be the first time in years that CNN didn’t report fake news.

Yes. Painting LSU as a rogue program that lacks institutional control is a very serious allegation.

Just speculating here, but I think the SEC and LSU both realized that this whole situation was getting out of hand and neither side wanted to continue down this road. But the SEC would look like fools for threatening expulsion of a charter member and then backing down, so LSU agreed to add 2 other players to the roster and put the “pro players” stuff to rest so it would give the SEC cover to either cancel the Thursday meeting or just vote for something minor like a censure or a year of probation and move on.

There’s probably a couple of schools that want to vote for expulsion, but the majority realize what a disaster it would be for the conference to expel one of the biggest brands in all of college sports and how it would accelerate the push towards a breakaway league separate from the NCAA that renders existing conferences obselete.
