They were never going to vote LSU out of the SEC. That was just talking points and leverage over LSU. Get in line or else there’s going to be consequences.
The SEC is not going to get LSU expelled from the NCAA football playoffs because that would cost the SEC millions of dollars that is spread around all of the SEC teams.
No doubt Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama and probably Texas would love put sanctions on LSU and especially on Kiffin. LSU and Kiffin said that they would abide by the SEC rules and they did. I don’t think that there will be any repercussions other than triple secret probation by Dean Wormer. We’ll see Thursday.
